This the first game in the arcade I ever played that had a feel/atmosphere to it.

I was 13 years old when this machine came out. I first played it at the Woodbridge Mall arcade in New Jersey. All of the adolescent boys were drawn to this came for obvious reasons. That notwithstanding, it's a great, great game.

Cool article! The voice compression scheme used in Xenon is called CVSD (Continuous Variable Slope Delta Modulation) and yields a 8:1 compression rate with fairly intelligible speech. Bally used it from 1978-1990 in their pinball and arcade machines.

i played this machine as a little kid 20+ years ago.. an early pinball favourite due to the polished feel and authentic computer soul atmosphere.. like some Tron type tangent might occur..
