  • that form is awful, you are lifting with your lower back. Not trying to discourage you though. Try doing pull ups instead, and keep at it.

  • @ZboneWalker its a place, in general, for people who don't want to feel judged for doing 5 lb curls, and for people who discriminate against muscular people, and are probably just insecure and have problems. They also have a rule that you can not grunt. Basically they want all their members to stay weaklings forever. The founder probably got picked on too much for being too small.

  • @ZboneWalker its a gym for beginners, free weights dont go any heavier than 65 lbs i was told. they have silly rules like no grunting when lifting. i was told also that they make it difficult for a member to cancel memebership.im with 24 hour fitness now and was thinking of switching but after hearing about the absurd rules, im thinking twice.

  • normally I don't comment on these, but if you're going to use all back and momentum there is really no point for you even trying. And why not use a curl bar?

  • I'm 5'7 162lbs and I do 145lbs 10-12 times. Try it on the preacher curl bar/station. Or keep your back flat against a pole so you don't arch so much. No offence but you'll pull a back or bicep muscle bad with your current form. Best of luck to you.
