  • w3ll actually that airplane (?) looks fucking big to me but its just a picture so i guess youre right

  • Holy shit is that big!!!

  • the ac-130 is better

  • @Sonnengrus lol no shit? ))))

  • I haven't seen anything so stupid looking for a long time.

  • The drawn one is way oversized compared to the photos. FAKE! ;P

  • Wargaming should totally put this flying battleship on World of Warplanes as a Tier 10.

  • The original Ka-7 had many different “Applications” under development. Some of the perhaps-not-so-far-fetched ideas were as a bomber, troop transport, civilian passenger plane, and even air transporting heavy artillery and tanks. No kidding on the last one; apparently, the idea was to string up stuff between the main gears and fly like that. None of these ideas ever "took off,” as on its 3nd flight, the behemoth crashed after suffering structural failure, killing most of the crew.

  • CAN ANY BODY TELL ME HOW BIG IS KALININ K-7

  • @william89680

    Ka-7 : Length: 28 m Wingspan: 53 m Empty weight: 24,400 kg

    Boeing 737-300: Length: 33,4 m Wingspan: 28,9 m Empty weight: 32,700 kg

  • its big?

    its ugly?

    its russian! ^^

    (and mostly is workes :)

  • i can´t believe that it was able to fly...

  • @meisterKuhre it didn't do a very good job. 8th test flight killed 14 people and the plane was canceled.

  • One stupid question, if they would fire those big ass guns while flying, wouldnt the recoil slow down the plane so much that it would crash?! But. in fact, russians are again the master of building huge ass monster who fly. Remember Mil-Mi 26 and AN225?!

  • 27.03.48 К7 have destroyed small town in the center of the USA with factory on manufacturing of a nuclear bomb. 5000 persons were lost. US authorities засекретели bombardment On a city place have made a confidential zone of witnesses liquidated. The authorities were frightened that the USSR can strike unpunished blow in any point of the USA. К7 it was impossible to bring down. The USA were frightened to begin war with the USSR. This operation is kept a secret in the USA and Russia

  • @cs4t001 "K7 was impossible to bring down"

Seemed to be brought down just fine on it's own

"The aircraft completed seven test flights before a crash due to structural failure of one of the tail booms on 21 November 1933"

"The accident killed 14 people aboard and one on the ground"

  • @jigglypiggly

It was the thought up legend what to hide the further workings out.

Since August, 5th 1941 coded К7 and with DB3 bombed Berlin. That has caused shock in Hitler. To 1945 15 planes have passed deep modernization and continued to stand in a reserve of confidential planes.

  • @cs4t001 "citation needed"

  • @cs4t001 citation needed

sounds like bullshit to me ;-)

  • @cs4t001 you are gay

  • the plywood-pelican!

  • is ot still operational ??

  • @redsvis of course it is. It's been dominating the skies for the last 80 years.

  • wow it actually flies haha

  • aerodynamics fail.

  • @MrSqueegie yup.

  • Did that ever fly???

  • @13RaToK dude that is friggin hilarious I just laughed a solid two minutes. Then I read muss' comment and laughed more

  • @mssuperhuntergaga I am Sick of all these Chuck Norris jokes if hes so f00kin strong i dear him to com to my house ans smash my face in the keyborhhjghmjm

  • people think that the K-7 was big, but it was a bit smaller than a boeing 747.It looks big because of all of the propellers and guns. Correct me if i'm wrong.

  • @MrWelshalex CORRECT

  • @MrHEILDEMFUHRER1

Those computer-generated, colour images are a little silly: why the author (the graphics designer) placed two women in there? They're walking from the truck toward the plane. Two women entering Kalinin in 1930s/1940s? It's a Hollywood-style nonsense.

  • @MrWelshalex The video presented us with two planes so what was the other one? You're correct it was smaller and rumor had it that when all the forward guns were in use it slowed the plane down. The big guns couldn't be used for sustained fireing was another rumor...

  • @FJvoodoo I think they are different variants of the k-7. One has under-carriage guns, the other had two massive bombs.

  • @MrWelshalex ugly piece of russian crap

  • @MrWelshalex correct, but for the time, it was huge. I mean..it has friggin battleship guns...who cares how big it was, that in itself is friggin awesome!

  • @MrWelshalex actually antonov an-225 was smaller than k-7

  • @william89680 Antonov an-225 Wingspan: 88.4 m (290 ft 2 in) Length: 28 m (91 ft 10 in)

    Kalinin k-7 Wingspan: 53 m (173 ft 11 in) Length: 84 m (275.6 ft)

    get your facts right.

  • @MrWelshalex the antonov is the largest cargo plane in the world....its stretches over the flight line like 20 feet more than our C5 in wingspan..

  • @william89680 wrong buddy...antonov is the largest...i know i.ve been on one...and actually got video of one for whomever wants to see it..

  • @MrWelshalex looks big because of those fat wings and landing gears

  • Yes it's much to small for what I need.

  • We have an oil leak some where hehehe

  • chuck Norris wanted to buy that but it was too small for him

  • @mssuperhuntergaga OH CHUCK NORRIS THIS...CHUCK NORRIS THAT....GO FUCK CHUCK NORRIS AND BE A LITTLE MORE ORIGINAL IN FUTURE YOU BUMBANDIT....SHEESH...

  • @shrimper2121 oh dude, couldn't have said it better myself WAIT A GO!!!!!!!! TELLING THOSE KINDS OF PEOPLE OFF?!!!!!!!!!! I TOAST TO THAT!!!!!!! OH,HOOO!!!!! DUDE YOU ARE AWSOME!!!! YOU ARE EPIC!!!!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! : D : D : D : D

  • VERY COOL

  • Real honest-to-god Transformer.

  • imagine crashing that one instead of the boeing 747.

i bet it would kill 2 birds with one stone.

  • thoughts of that shit just flying around sends chills down my spine.

  • The ultimate moose and squirrel killer...

  • Coolest design i've ever seen in my life.

  • Russians, its always too much overkill

  • Looks cool and it seems like an ok idea for its time but today it would be pointless

  • can't say thats the dumbest or smartest thing ive ever seen.

  • @epicwinface Stalin thought it was DUMBEST. He executed designer of the plane.

  • This thing is so stupid it's brilliant

  • JUNK.

  • Just ridiculous. Typical for Russians.

  • Did it actually fly?

  • @villainpingouin

there wer 3 prototypes as i read: 1 crashed at its first flight. the second did fly, but then it crashed wit ha few higher generals and stuff on it, and the third one was wrecked

  • @villainpingouin probably yes, knowing the Russians they test flew almost every prototype created, even if there was chance pilots/crew would die.

  • Comment removed

  • What an aerial abortion.

  • wat the fuck is that contraption

  • real k-7 was build 1930s for experiment use, and it failed.. after first fail they tried to build a new one, but the project was cancelled in 1935 before they could be completed..

  • Looks like flying factory!!

    GREAT!

  • Esa cosa no puede haber volado...

  • This is technofantasy by LMA rusring.net/~levin/k7/k777....htm

And it would be nice if author of the "great" video mention this!

  • Russia: wasting money on big, inoperable, inefficient things since the tsar cannon!

  • 0:21 i would like to see a full broadside from this in flight:D

even if it wouldnt be ripped apart its flying backwards then

  • 이거 내가 무진장 갖고 싶은 모델이지.

This is totally my type aircraft.

    Ex~~~~~~cellent!

  • Russia is the best in the Aerospace Industry

  • @Tkopp243 genius !!!!!!!!

  • @MrHEILDEMFUHRER1 Thank you, Thank you, (takes a bow)

  • @Tkopp243 i m sorry i say genius friendly(lol) im sorry i know that the picures with the battleship guns are fake .i m sorry for my words, ciao

  • It crashed in an air show. The pilot of another plane went off the book and started stunt flying. He didn't watch out and collided with the giant plane.

  • is this monster fly?????(nice video)

  • @jovangenius96 It could have but it just crashed

  • @jovangenius96 It lifted off on August 11th 1933 although even its designers doubted the thing would be efficient.

On November 21st 1933 vibrations during flight tore its tail away and it made a nosedive into the ground.

Two more bombers were ordered - after dealing with the structural weaknesses - but to entire project was cancelled before they were completed.

But mounting big guns on that thing is wishful thinking at its worst!

    Peace! ;)
