  • cool

  • if theres no fans on bottom then it isnt a "hover craft" its a "slide craft" correct?

  • @shinzscape

There is a leaf blower, that blows air under the skirt. That's not a fan.

It IS a hovercraft though. It doesn't touch the ground (except for the cord) XD

  • good music

  • wtf stupid credits

  • WOOOOWW nice mop! :D

  • This video was shot with a peanut.

  • thats the badass way to clean the school gymnasium

  • what leaf blower did u use

  • want really good instructions on building a hovercraft? This video has a step by step guide, with a 3D modelling instructions. /watch?v=bcyFSyglWpY

  • Rocking video!! awesome design too!

  • great way to get electrocuted

  • steps pleeeaaaaasssee

  • How did you establish forward motion? I see the angle of the leaf blower and the fan, but I've tried that and can only hover in place.

  • How it levitate if there isnt fans on the bottom?

  • @michaelomo1998 It slides it does not hover.

  • Not gonna show the construction?

  • how many CFU's does that motor have

    also how much horse power

  • Comment removed

  • if i make one i will ride it like a skateboard

  • how fast did it go?? cause i got to do one for a project to

  • 30 people tried it in water and went *blub*

  • Wow looks kool, now how did you build the Basket Ball Court to use it on. Its been a very long time since I was your age cough couch ouch ouch, and I never ever even knew I couch that would not have killed me if I ever that on there court. Never mind, I did stuff like that anyways.

  • try it in the ocean XD (sink)

  • cool :) !

  • can you make a wireless one

  • he looks like a tool

  • Do you have plans or pictures of this that some one could interpret plans from?

  • what type of fan did u use on the back.

  • the best music

  • looks a bit like the airboat from HL2

  • GREAT work! however a small dingy electric motor battery would be perfect for that you could find them at a marina store fairly cheap and they are light weight and fairly powerful. they don't take long to charge

  • to get rid of the wires, use a car bat, just make sure you cover it. if its too heavy use a smaller bat, but im tellin ya its freaking sweet!, im going to be starting one soon i just but im going to be using bat, cause i want to get an idea of the strength im looking for.

  • You shuld use a vacuum cleaner fan or a leaf blower.

  • now go for gas!!

  • What are you using to propel yourselves forward??

  • @Hyenna37 read the description

  • the project is good ... but it would be perfect if there were no wires :)

  • Nice Work ;)

  • I BUILt one also with a 200km/h leafblower and it's still pretty weak does anyone know how much km/h the leafblower they used for the hovercraft?

  • I have a similar sized craft that runs fine on a 200 MPH blower, don't know what it works out to in km/h

  • pretty inspiring actually

  • looks like fun

  • I like to rig sh***** too

    Pretty cool for F*****ing around!

  • bad music

  • WOW LAME

  • ur gym sucks

  • wats the weight limit

  • science ftw

  • supper cool

I ran a riding mower with a grinder motor, no blade Ran the cord up a broom as a mast then to a tree branch. worked good for getting the cord out of the way

you should post the plans for the hovercraft, it looks cool

  • its using a leaf blower and a fan. cool steering wheel if only the fan was solar or battery op.

  • Lolz 4 stars u sped it up to make it look fast.

  • what kind or fan is it? i built the hovercraft but i dont no what fan 2 buy

  • love that song!

  • I take it we sped up the video so we could see the movement??? :)

    Good job guys!

  • what kind of fan did you use

  • put some smooth and small wheels on it

and i guarantee it'll go fast lol

  • Looks like a lot of fun!

  • how did you make the wings to steer the hovercraft because i am tring to figure it out but i just cant its too hard

  • hey where do u get that fan it seems to have alot of power but its so small could u tell me what kind of fan it is

  • what kind of fan is giving the forward propulsion? i built a good hovercraft but dont know how to get it going forward.

  • if it gonna be used outdoors leafblowers are awesome

  • 5 stars.

if you had less 'slack' i would have ran better

  • What Where The materials?

  • okay the video was cool but H.T.F DO u built? it? excellent but the music sucked....

    LOUD

  • 5 stars. Nice!!

  • Looks like total fun! Awesome music! 5/5

  • how come u dident show the fans on the bottom?

  • There are no fans on the bottom. So, there's no way to show them XD

  • @wingbullet nice hover craft what did you use for the skirt the white thing thanks

  • @wingbullet then it's not a hovercraft, it's a Airboat

  • @lifehackertips

Wikipedia: A hovercraft (air-cushion vehicle, ACV) is a craft capable of traveling over surfaces while supported by a cushion of slow moving, high-pressure air which is ejected against the surface below and contained within a "skirt."

    This is a hovercraft.

  • @ghat6789 dumbfuck

  • What did you use for the thrust on the back?

  • read description

  • Exemplary musical taste. I just bought the album.

  • can u tell me how 2 build one

  • Is the fan just electric?

If so what model is it and what size?

  • hew ever made that send me the instructions to that!!!! tha thing is nice!!!

  • try it in water!

  • *blub*

  • @wingbullet it's electric too, so it would be blub blub bzzztt!

  • @derneuschooer oh yeah with the 110v extension cord behind you yeah that would work.

Though I winder how long it would run on a 12v battery and inverter.

  • @nerys71 very poorly

  • @nerys71

Hehe actually, in my country, it's 220 or 230 V, so it's even better =P

  • son unos grosos

  • gaaf man

  • were making one that will run with 4 car batteries so we wont have to use extension chords

  • Heavy :S

  • why does everybody build hovercrafts that use electricity??

Me and my friend are going to build one that runs on gas!

  • thats going to consume alot of gas!

  • not really, and it will be much faster!

  • hey if you use a generator to power electrical things its good

  • how long did this take to make and what would be a good motor to use for the forward propultion?

  • use another leaf blower

  • lol im making one for school too!

  • how would i make one that goes on hard/softish sand and like couple of inches of water

  • what kind of fan did you use??

i'm making one of these for my school too

    haha

  • not good - see the cable wire used to power the thing !!!

  • how did u make that thing?

  • what do you have on the bottom of hoverarft to make it stay with just one fan?

  • and de ocean test??? xD

  • *blub* :P

  • Cool but if u want to ride it other places u should use a cordless (battery or gasoline) leaf blower

  • how did you make it lote i whant to make one

  • Airboat from hl2 xD

  • This is really nice. Better design than some of the commercial hovercraft designs I've seen (the ones they sell on the back of comic books). Nice!

If you have blueprints/parts list, me and my friend need a base to build one on :D

  • You really should use 2 motors so you can ride on the street thats what im ganna do

  • you have to consider that extra weight though

  • ya i guess so but it would still be better

  • but those things hold ALOT of weight

  • For that, you also have to consider the noise because you dont want to have to be wearing earmuffs while riding it

  • ahahaha, awesome i'm gonna build one my self so i can ride it to school

  • love the music

  • lol you can tell this is in the uk. look at the tiny sports hall and the toy they made. the us would have made one to cross the channel and a terminal too. i hate being english we get so ripped off all we can aford is mickey mouse stuff while america over endulges in excellence abundance surplus and any other word that means more than us. rant over well done lads for letting your dreams fly even on a shoe string. with the right marketing next xmas hit for kids

  • It happens to be in Holland actually ;)

  • sorry my mistake

  • Epic failure!

  • 0.0 i'm english

  • how r u turning it?

  • Two flaps on the back, controlled by a rope.

  • cool, and is that a fan on the back?

  • looks like it sucks but i wasent there

  • i think it looks fuckin awesome. ...and its wasn't (no 'e') :)

  • is leaf blower....

  • lol you played it fast forward when it started moving so that it would look as it is fast. That explains the shaky cameraman.

  • LOL! im my comment limit exteeded box it stood "matestfu" with green letters LOLOLLLOLOLOL

    cool vid btw 5/5

  • lol happened once to me too :DD

  • future of driving on the street

  • what kinda fan is that

  • Read the posts XD

  • hmm.....is a leaf blower for the one which lift the board up

  • Once you make one without AC power it will rock!!

  • to bad you have to have an extension cord hooked to it

  • It may be incovenient, but you do just hover over it, lol. So it's not to in the way.

  • This is true and you dont have to worry about charging the batteries!!!

  • could you send me the recipe to make this machine

  • it probably went like .000115 miles per hour until they sped up the vid lol

  • hold the camera still

  • what is the song ???

  • nice vid

  • is that just a window fan? How much power does it draw?

  • well, it's a fan made out of a block of wood, but it was rotated by a lawnmower engine. The engine draws around 2000 Watts :P

  • Wheres the lawnmower engine?

  • it's an electric mower motor

  • u can at 00:32

  • i do

  • cool

  • it wos nice video i have to this project you can help mi do you have icq

  • Lol, its not a rope pulling it its the electricity wire connected to the wall xD

  • u retard if that was stop motion there would be over 300,000 pics and it would take weeks

  • hey i know how to stabilaze that thing you nee to put like a contur around the wood, watch mythbusters they have an anwser for the stabilazation problem, use a Engine not a motor, much more efective and well doesnt relie on cables.

  • dude that is freakin awesome!!im kinda doing a project with a balloon and a cd but i want to make a real one like that...that is the best one ive seen

  • Great job man, better than anything i've ever built.

  • thats pretty fkin sweet, but the camera man is making me vomit...

  • Yeah I know :P Sorry for that

  • can you build one with an enclosed cockpit?
