This was the best glitch ever! I remember spinning around like I was in a tornado a few times LOL

The key was to make the custom track with the long straightaways at the edge of the map.

I also loved playing this game. Loved the track designing section. Got pretty fast and good at that, and also in the actual racing. It's been almost 20 years when I first got this on our 286 pc from a friend. Those were the days. We had a sound blaster card, a good standard sound for pcs in those days.

ahhh thats what I hate about this game is having to type this code at 0:03 and you have to look on the book saying page num, line num, and word num, and type and when its wrong, your car will automatically blow up in 5 second.

My girlfriend and me were watching a video about stunt race when. I was talking about that bug (speed lock) dam I'm nostalgic. Finding a video that actually show that bug was quite a coincidence thank you.

once I did upgrade my 486 dx33mhz to dx2/66mhz got a 16mb sound blaster and a 2x cd rom......still like those games

it was much easier to achieve the speed lock bug by using a manual indycar / f1 (whatever it was) and accelerating slightly whilst heading for a loop. then as you hit the bottom of the loop, hit 5th gear. youd just hit top speed almost instantly, and you could fang all over the map at top speed. the car would only take off if you got too much sideways movement.

well, that this is understandable... if car has wings.. :D that has happened to me also, something like 10 years ago when i was playing this game...

sometimes, when i played this game, i took an opponent and i forced it to crash, I put it fly.. it was quite funny to look.

I did this so many times. I always wondered how a F1 car could break it's windshield since there is no windshield lol.

Speed the vehicle up to it's apogee, then it requires a bump or a jump to have it max flattened down. Very precise steering is required once it's at its maximum

That bug was great, I used to build a track where the car would fly into a forest of trees it was like a pinball machine.

When you landed right on the edge of a ramp cause you weren't fast enough the car would rocket into the stratosphere and then fall back down nose first.

I had some FURIOUS crash replays saved on my 386 back then.

lol great game i still have it you can find it on several abandonware websites....i rmember that glitch too. if you hit a bunch of jumps in arow you also go flying sky high. great game. i love making your own tracks
