It's hard to say which is the best ending, Pocahontas or Beauty and the Beast...through Notre Dame in there and you have a challenge. However, they are all composed with such masterful stroke by the genius Alan Menken. You can here the magic, elegance and distant mystery in his music. He really captures the imagination of the audience as well as the animators. You have once again capture the magic! I never get tired of this! Bravo!

@mlr2107 His recommendation is inaccurate. I like this video a lot. I wish that I could have the actual score to this(full orchestra+ SATB choir), but the piano transcription you provided is really good and accurate(I laughed at the ending dynamic mark, I'm a tuba player). I've always wanted to conduct this piece with an orchestra and choir. For everyone- it is first and that musicality is brought out, not recommendation. Thats how composers are alive- through the music and musicality. Bravo!

I love how his songs are so perfect for my voice, and his instrumental is so enchanting I've only played piano for 3 years and a bit.. and I worked really hard to get to grade 9 rcm, but my technique is still mehh :P But you did great! @goaliceinwonderland eww...L8tn sounds NOTHING like the movie it sounds like a simple version of the melody! Beauty and the Beast won Best Music and Original score at the Oscars which would require it to have brilliant emotional and musical depth. The movie had a full orchestra and this video simplifies and entire orchestra to a piano solo that is stunning beyond his years. Go ACTUALLY listen to the music before posting your ignorance on YouTube.

Besides, if I'm not mistaken, L8tn is playing from the musical, not the movie. Also, you do realize that you don't always have to play music like it's written right? There are certain rules you have to have in films (not making the scene too long, etc.) that you definitely should not follow when just playing a piece.

By playing it slowly and gracefully, it gives the song emotion and depth, and that's what this score needed. The middle presents mystery and change quite well for the transformation process. Then he wraps up the end beautifully... I like this version the best! :) love the part 4:32 and 4:52

Well, everybody's allowed their own opinion, and he is kind of right about the chatting. :S It was annoying, but mostly because I wanted to focus on the music and the chatting got in the way of all the pretty!

I love soft, hesitant beginnings like that, though. This piece is so well done. :)
