60's Childhood memories,my Dad and Uncles sitting in the living room hearing this album and the smell of cigarettes and the klinking of glasses filled with Scotch on the rocks. My brothers and I wrestling in the other room. Great childhood times.
@RetroTony1959 Had similar memories of my parents and their friends, martini's, cigarettes, cigarette holders, laughter, this on the record player, etc... My sisters and I would be ...no, not wrestling :)...but up in bed listening to everything. I couldn't wait until I was of age and could do the same. Too bad things changed dramatically in the 80's and 90's.
@sophieepiot You're not kidding. What a totally different world we live in today. America has changed for the worse in my opinion. The things I learned from my Dad and uncles would certainly be considered "Politically incorrect" today. The America I grew up in was 10 times freer than today. I had 8 brothers and even from the 60's into the 70's we were never allowed to have long hair.and didn't do drugs but we sure drank and smoked cigarettes from an early age. lol
What a song, sung by Tony Bennet, words by Bobbie Troupe and music by Niel Hefty simply just as perfect as it can get.

The melody is more beautiful than the words. So gently and smooth made for Tony voice. Oh my Godness... I love this melody!
