  • i'm on that video..yeah

  • good it did nothing anyway

  • Did nothing anyway???? That was the stepping stone for the F-22 and B-2. That was a very importent bomber during the gulf war and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

  • It served our country well.

    USA!

  • it did

  • i haven't seen any lockheeds don't have them in AUS sad though i want the F-22 soooo bad but you americians arn't selling them to us why?? :(

  • DERRR! most advanced airplane ever!!! BE HAPPY YOU GET A STEALTH F-35

  • Meh id rather the F22 but still we need to upgrade our military

  • just be happy with the F-35

  • Fine but uor military needs upgrading too not just air force we're still using the old F111 and also we need the M1A2 Abrams

  • we could trust u wiht the M1A2.

  • Thats a good thing, you make it sound as though you dont trust us?..............

  • i don't have a problem with u but i wouldn't trust any country with our F-22

  • We backed you up in Korea and Vietnam you can trust us

  • i know a guy in the pentagon trying to convince the air force to make the F-22 the main fighter jet of the US, his name is juice

  • i have seen every lockheed black aircraft Sr-71,F-117,u-2,F-22 but not the 35 stil gotta see it

  • It's incredible that we retire this incredibly high-tech machinery while the rest of the world cannot even get remotely CLOSE to this level of technology of sophistication. America rules.

  • it made its final fligth today, 4-21-08, its weird, that plane i saw as a little kid and thought was the best technology ever is now never flying again.

  • 4-22 actually

  • Good Stealth Plane Always goes out silently.

    RIP F-117 Nighthawk.

Heroes get remembered but legends never die.

  • next week will be the final flight of the last 4 sad but it happens.

  • im glad they are going to there old home again, tonapah. its better than setting in a junk yard at davis monathan.

  • it's sad that such an innovational aircraft has to go....., but all good things must come to an end.

  • it's sad that such an innovational aircraft has to go....., but all good things must come to an end.

  • good bye they went befor there time but oh well the F-22 and the F-35 are better planes anyways

  • Oh no. I hadn't heard this. That's too bad. It's sad to see some of these planes I've known for so long go. Nothing else looked like this one.

  • not yet it is still serving i fly one

  • not yet it is still serving i fly one

  • What squadron and UPT class?

  • ya right and theres only a few left

  • bout freakin time.... who's the replacement?

  • A JASSM

  • what???

  • F-117 Nighthawk one of the best now retires

  • i heard the F-15 was gonna be retired in like 2025 or something like that

  • the F-15E but the C&D thats going right now there fazing them out.

  • i heard the F-15 was gonna be retired in like 2025 or something like that

  • i cant belive its going to be retired

  • all grate planes have in end but we'll miss this one

  • no. nononononononononononononononononononononono. i won't belive it. i refuse

  • well ur going to have to live with it all great aircraft have an end just like the SR-71 and the F-15 coming to a end in a couple years

  • damn im gonna miss this thing. ive seen it at air shows many times

    great fighter =[

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

y cant they keep the F-117 for a while till they have enough 22's

  • because they don't have to maintain these and some other stuff so they get alot more money to buy F-22's

  • No, not entirely true. The F-117 just can't keep up with current capabilities that current weapon systems can do and do more efficiently. She's just past her time, very limited payload, high maintenance costs and complete lack of functionality in the current and near future ops tempo are what's putting the Nighthawk to rest. Yes, cutting fat from the budget is required for future Raptor purchases it is definitely not the end all be all solution for the Air Force.

  • that to and thanks for typing it out for my i really did not want to do it :D

  • That just brakes my fucking heart... the Nighthawk. It stills look like a plane from the future and we're retiring it. Can you believe how technologically advanced America is? Heck, even the SR-71 looks like the future to me, and it's half a Century old!

    God bless the USA!

  • It was the pioneer and will take its place in avionics legend. A true marvel of human achievement, and a fitting benchmark to work towards in our future developments, taking forward the legacy of it's amazing technology. Heres to the F-117

  • Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i know its so sad but its always going to happen with r aircraft that we luv.
