  • Just sing......PLEASE

  • Ironic to have Billy playing on this song with John. :D Music always goes full circle.

  • underrated no.. under appreciated absolutely.

  • Does a very ggod job on a song by a singer who will forever be in our hearts and minds. Ricky, your music will live on forever and people like this will help us remember him.

  • I believe when Rick Nelson was inducted into the Rock n Roll HoF it was Fogerty who made the speech that inducted him.

  • Rick has the smoothest voice ever and good looks that no one has except perhaps Elvis .To me they are both the number one.

  • hey fogerty....you can't sing like ricky but you tried

  • Intriguing, Rick Nelson and Fogerty both do the tune, but it has totally different meanings to Rick and John...great tune

  • Thank you John for performing this tribute to one of the most underrated musicians ever. GREAT version!

  • @smitty54017 under rated? Never

  • Strange, somehow, John Fogerty evens looks a bit like Rick Nelson here.

  • It is a great tribute to the great Rick Nelson To have John Fogerty Of CCR fame to sing a Rick Nelson song and did a wonderfull job, both men have class,It is so sad that Rick is not with us may he rest in peace and God bless him.

  • This was the song Rick Nelson wrote after being booed off Stage at Madison Square Gardens when he stupidly opened for the Rolling Stones back in July 1972.

  • @IdolHans

not true..but close. He was playing a 50s rock'n'roll reuninion with Chuck Berry, Bo Didlley, Yoko Ono, John lennon, George Harrison.. (makes sense if you understand the pointers in the lyrics)

People expected Rick to look as he did when he was ricky, ducktailed and so on on..But he came in country and western attire and long hair and got booed when playing his newer country and western.

  • @meharidude Where is there a reference to George Harrison?

  • @ben011235813 ----" Mr. Hughes hid in Dylans shoes, wearin' his disguise

  • @meharidude Where was there a reference to George Harrison?

  • @ben011235813

George Harrisons alias or disguise when travelling was mr. Hughes, and at the time he was planning an album based on Bob Dylans songs.

  • PLAY the damn song John FoGEY.. hahhaha He plays it well

  • @CreatORder i knw right but he doesnt play as good as ricky nelson

  • @guyduke12 he plays guitar better than a lot of people including ricky nelson. so lets not judge him

  • Fogerty does Nelson. There is no better tribute. Brilliant!

  • . . . right behind JF is Billy Burnette, superior guy. Saw him with Fleedwood Mac in Oesede, Germany in the 90' ! ! !

  • Saw this guy years ago.loved him with ccr,But the time i saw him, miss Bonnie Rait opened,& took the show!

  • I love Matt Nolen! He is the one that plays guitar, sometimes keyboard...So talented!

  • I used to want to be Jesus II. Now. ah

  • I used to want to be a soap opera guy and they guy a 16 year old girl would want. Now?

  • JOhn sorry about record co b.s. but I guess.order is the business of the day

  • all of the days of my life..great song

  • for my cousin: "I already met everyone...they just have different names."

  • John Fogerty did a cover of the Gene Pitney song 'Hello Mary Lou' when he was in CCR. Ricky Nelson is famous for recording that song in 1961 and putting it on the map. Although Ricky Nelson did not officially write the song, John probably recorded it as a tribute to both Pitney and Nelson.

  • John returning the favor to Ricky Nelson, who covered Johns classic 'Almost Saturday Night'.

  • JF class all the way

  • very nice on the part of john fogerty to play this song...a nice tribute to rick nelson...just shows john has class

  • @ffej980 you are so right.Great comment.

  • Thank you so much for this fantastic performance and song! 5 million glittering stars and Love and Light - Sharine

  • Thank you for sharing, Sharine. I follow J Fogerty for years (1970 ... Creedence)

  • I love this song. its true you can't please everyone. got to please yourself. thanks John for reminding us again. great song.

  • a winner for my "cover song of the day"..great version of one of my old faves. Does the late Rick Nelson proud.

  • Love the new album !! better as the Revival album !! ^^ Hope he will make concerts in france !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • JOHN FOREVER

  • John, please come to Argentina too, here you will receive all the love you deserve for being a big rock.

  • yahh!!!! J F is the best!!! ever

  • That's just beautiful! Everything John touches turns to gold. I'm a huge lifetime fan of this under-rated(well maybe not underrated so much anymore) rock legend. He's an American version of the Beatles in my eyes, a superb songwriter and interpreter of americana and country blues roots.

  • yep , the Rick Nelson song, nice version john. blue ridge rangers.

  • The new Rangers cd is brilliant,John is just getting better

  • Please come to Norway :)
