It is a Grainmaker mill. Last time I checked they raised prices by like $275 probably due to cost of materials. It's now $675!!!!! Ouch!! I paid about $400 for it. However, it is WELL worth the cost. They have a lifetime warrantee and you can call and talk to Bonnie the wife of the guy who started making these from his home shop! She's a nice gal and has offered some tips for making bread.
The first couple of loaves of bread we made were --- terrible. However, I was grinding it by hand and became lazy and loosened the grind (not as fine of grind) as a result, the flour wasn't as fine. When I began using the bike (several months later) I tightened the grind and made better flour ... resulting in better flour and bread.
You need to raise your seat. you're not getting full extension of your legs in your stroke. If you raise your seat you'll get more power in your stroke and you'll be more comfortable on the bike.
I fixed it - it is public domain now. I hadn't originally intended on sharing outside a few people - but a friend of mine posted to hackaday on my behalf. Once that was done, it was public domain anyways.
Hey where did you get the grinder. what brand? would you recomment it? I'd like to set up something like that. Nice work!
