  • I love this vid. I'm so glad I found it again. Airedales impress me a wonderful dogs, but take a real pack leader. When I grow up to be C. Malon maybe I can handle one.

  • lol my ones called jansie

  • Getting an Airedale next Saturday. Already picked a name for it, Dylan, after Bob Dylan. Can't wait! Already have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who will love the company.

  • 1:16 is sooo cute!

  • so polite! what a gentleman. dales-the best dogs that walk this earth!! miss my airedale, nicky, so much! RIP my big boy-gone since 1993

  • lol Moshi!?!?! thts a kewl name!!! lol mines name is Charlie:D!!!

  • that dog is so beautiful the name of my dog is moshi and he's like him

  • can't Waite till i get my airedale.

  • I love my airedele

  • i love my airedale

  • Can't get over the one dog just sitting and watching the other... very patient.

  • yes, you are right they are good for alergies because they dont shed hair and they need atleast 2 good walks a day

  • its funny to see how similar they all are. my airedale (molly) wont let anything go on without her checking things out(grocery bags, gardening, bathroom, changing the baby, etc.) She's the most inquisitive animal I've ever known.

  • I've owned 6 in all. I have 2 right now and just got a Scotty for my third choice. If you think they're funny consider adding a Scottish Terrier to compliment your Airedales. Talk about a hoot!! Lovely Airedales btw. Bravo!!!

  • i heard they are pretty good with allergies, is that true? also how much excercise do they need a day?

  • they are good with allergies because they don't shed until their hair gets pretty long-most people trim it by stripping it or cutting it before it is long. If you strip their hair on a regular basis, then the hair is kept short and wiry.

I never stripped my Fionas hair, and she had the softest coat ever

  • Hey, I love them a bit soft and shaggy, but

I see in print that this is "not preferred." So annoying--should I just ignore this "standard?"

  • This is great, I have an airedale too, and she will sometimes get "incredulous" if we decide to go somewhere without her. They're such funny dogs.

  • Barney was was very funny when he was a youngster, he would stop and watch people who walked past him without smiling at him or petting him, totally incredulous!

  • i heard they are pretty good with allergies, is that true? also how much excercise do they need a day?

  • is cute

  • Nice video, I've added it to our forum

  • I need a second one.

  • great vid i loooooooooooooooove airdales!! 5 stars

  • 1:16 is sooo cute!

  • theyr just like mine

  • I got one called Bob. I love him so much. They have such a great character. They're clowns!!!!

  • That's such a good one.. really shows off the spirit of this great breed ^^ thanks for sharing! :)

  • I love them!!!!!!!

  • OMG!!!!!!! i have an airedale and he does the same thing with my neighbors dog!!!!! lol!

  • lol these dogs are pretty funny. Been wanting a Beagle forever but one of these Airedale's could be good too.

  • Sorry, I didn't read your entire description. Barnes had already had his chew. My Airedale does the same thing, eats hers fast then desperately watches my mini schnauzer finish his.

  • I hope Barns got his own chew after this video. His expression is so typical of an Airedale. He wants that chew but respects the other dog (alpha dog).

  • Actually, I think Barns is 'willing' Roxy's chewchew to jump out of her mouth and into his. Sometimes it happens!! I've seen it. I had two Airedales, and I know that look all too well. BTW... Roxy, you tease, you know exactly what your doing to Barns.

  • His stance makes me giggle...he looks slightly blown back by the fact that his pal is still chomping!

  • I think it's good you are macking movies about airedales.... You can see our pet dog. It's under FortegoLite.

  • i have two airedales...i love them

  • I have Ari-an Airdale,and she's gonna turn 2 on Sept.27. I'll try to make a video of her birthday.Soooooooo cuuuute dogs.

  • Aa-a-a-a-a-a-a-airedale!!!!!!!!!!!! Love them!

  • Hahaha, his expression is hilarious! Airedales are so intelligent they seem "human" at times.

  • i couldn't agree with you more. I own one myself and they really do have many human-like qualities.

  • i agree!!

  • i heard they are pretty good with allergies, is that true? also how much excercise do they need a day?

  • Yes, I understand that Airedales are recommended by Doctors for people with allergies. They don't really shed so they have the added advantage of being house proud! I take Barney for two walks a day, off the lead for about an hour each. I believe two half hour walks is about the minimum but as Airedales are so highly inquisitive the longer the walk the more fun for dog and owner.

  • really

  • Omg! So cute! My dog Mocha's dad is the second best airedale terrier in the USA!

  • yes yes very gooood

  • haha he's just sitting there like "whaa?"

  • Love Airedales! I have Freddie, Lady and Airelle. They are the best breed of dog. Thanks so much!

  • i own Cody the airdale...lol these dogs are sooo funny.... :-)

  • Barns is such a character, aww they're beautiful by the way. We just got another Airedale, so we have 2 now :D I'll put up a video of them playing soon!

  • Barney looks so hard done by! What a character - thanks for sharing. I love Airedales and hope to get one someday...maybe I need 2....

  • I like your video clip and have rated it as awesome. I've created a clip of some rare dog cards, one of which features an Airedale Terrier.

  • Loved this! The one without the treat just speaks to the camera with those sad eyes! LOL Poor baby! We have Eddie the Airedale here at our house. They are just so great.

  • wow that was exciting

  • I love that Airedales are a larger version of Wire Fox Terriers, with the same zest & love for life. Thanks!

  • So cute!!! Thanks for sharing! :-)

  • Airedales are the best! I have three, 2 Oorang and one Standard.

  • Oh, this is cute. Their expressioins are priceless.

  • Your Barns looks exactly like our Nouschka, color, behaviour, melancholic look in his eyes, even the way he lays down. Our Nouschka is 6 years old and adorable :)

Nouschka was a sweet little puppy and didn't give us much work - but that's not very airedale-like ;)

  • To be honest Barns was a nightmare!. Karen (Barney's groomer/chef) used to cry herself to sleep after 16 hours of 'fun'. That's the trouble with highly intelligent Dogs, they know the right buttons to push. After about three years things started getting better, in fact we miss the old days a little. Having said that Barn's loves other Dogs and generally comes back (sooner or later) when called, so we can forgive him everything else. Good luck, Nigel (Barney's driver).

  • were your airedales badly behaved as puppies?

  • I miss my airedales...

    :(

  • That was so cute. Barns watches and watches, can't take anymore so he lays down with his head away from Rox.....Pretty dogs.
