In the 70's Neil Sedeka couldn't buy a gig in the US. He was kept going by the chicken in a basket club scene in the north of England. He may have been largely forgotten in the US but he was always well respected in England, so much so that 10CC produced his Tra la Days album in Stockport near Manchester which put his career back on track. He wrote many of the songs of the childhood of people of a certain age. He was, and still is, one of the greatest.

Since I live in Manila and there's no way I can get this in here, I had to buy it all the way from Amazon just so I can see the rest of the concert. I didn't know when and where was this but luckily there was another video from the concert where he says EDMONTON, CANADA. I googled and bam! I now have the DVD and I can stare at the back up singer all I want. And of course, listen to Neil. They had big hairs back then, I just noticed. I'm only 18 that's why.
