@deezbar Nice, I thought as much. Still beautiful. And since Wals are back and available, I might grab one with in the next year and actually it most likely will be the exact specs of yours.
I'm not trying to copy you, I just want a Wal with snappy ebony FB and growl facings. I really loved Geddy Lee's tone and Wenge is very growly... So, yeah.
@lasteffect Hi mate. go for the Wal! It's not a case of you copying someone.you order the bass that you want. These vids i put on are to showcase the instrument/effect pedals etc,So people can get an idea of their sounds etc.glad this helped :-)
@deezbar Yeah, it being anywhere from $4,500 to $5,500. I will wait around 6 months or so to order one. I want to make sure I have enough extra cash for it, plus I just realized your Wal is a MkI, correct? I'm going more likely after the MkII or MkIII, because I like my basses with 24 frets :)
And Yeah, that Moogie sounds great, I might grab the Tech 21 Ripper, since its cheaper, easier to find and can replicate the most classic of Fuzz, Synth, and Envelope pedals in music history.
I own a 1981 Wal Custom, also with wenge faces. Watching you play this makes me realize I should play it a lot more than I do.
