ALWAYS,ALWAYS, check with your doctor first to make sure you don't have high blood pressure or any kind of chance of being prone to brain aneurysms. As long as you get the "all clear" from your doctor, then hanging upside down can actually help increase blood circulation to the brain and mental clarity.
You need to change the setting. If you have a Teeterups there are 3 holes located under the handles. Use the one on the outside or the middle. Remember the one further out will rotate much faster so be careful. I use the middle setting myself for full inversion.
I used the outside one, according to the manual given to me, the outer one is the best choice if i want to do a full inversion. I just can't find a suitable height for me. Mind teaching me how to find my setting? My height is 161. Thanks for replying me anw. {:
@nameless954 You just have to play with it. Set it to your aprox. height. You lay down and cross your arms over your chest. The bed should teeter a bit and your feet should be below your head. This is the proper setting.
Awesome, thought I don't follow the 'relax the ankles' part. That sounds hard. Like, I am not very consciously connected with my ankles. Plus, if you relax the muscles, it will put it on the ligaments. Both soft tissues can get strained, so I figure, back and forth, something, they will adapt, yes? I want strong dorsiflexors like the anterior tibilias anyway.
Do the boot options decrease the stress on the ankles perhaps? I think they do, though they might also reduce foot circulation, bad :(
