so im thinking its the same thing they used on those huge concert with hatsune miku on stage as a hologram on a glass singing together with a whole band that are playing live (only hatsune as a hologram)?. But wow this is interesting.

um... you used a projector to display a video, but instead of a white screen you projected it onto glass, not really a hologram....

@lifehackertips technically no.. but to the eye it sure looks like it, and that's what really counts.

@Masterpj555 no, to a 2D camcorder it looks like a hologram, but to our eyes we'd see glass and a image on that glass. This is like shining a flashlight on a window and looking at it from the outside, it doesn't look like a floating ball of light, it looks like a flashlight on a window.

@lifehackertips erm well no actually, the glass was covered with little drops of water causing the projector to stay.. so when its dark you dont notice the glass and see it as a hologram too

I didn't show you the 2200 lumen projector which this time was in the front of the screen.

due to it being very cold outside the window was slightly blurry.

But that isn't noticiable in the dark.

due to there being condense on the window, it reflects the light.

thus you being able to see the projection.

giving it a black background the projector will only emit light on for the character.

The blue tint is just coincidence :)

how can you project light on to glass and call it a hologram?? that is not a hologram, holograms are supposed to appear out of thin air with some type of device

this just gives the impression that its holographic but its really not
