  • how bout his walkoff?

  • Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. Seriously though, I'm hoping for the best for Moss, no matter how much I rip on him in this video.

  • @bandito0 How about his several homers in the past few weeks? Blind Squirrel? I think not.

  • @lindseymilligan

C'mon, those homers are coming against AAA pitching.

  • Mets>Phillies

  • Except for last year.

  • true dat!

  • Moss is a great player. I can't wait to see more from him in the future!

  • Power hitters strike out a lot.

  • get better seats ur poor lol what are those seats like 9$ i have season tickets for the pirates right on the first baseline and im only 15. No My parents didnt buy the tickets me and my freind bought them because we both have the same job that pays 15$ A hr and been working there since 12 Lets Go bucs

  • Ok, good for you man. Pirates season tickets are what, $100 (I'm kidding)? It has to be easy to pay for stuff like this when you don't have a car payment, rent, etc. Enjoy your seats, and enjoy the freedom with the supposedly large amount of cash you have, because it won't last forever.

Oh, and btw, the seats were $20.

  • Explain to me why you do not care for moss very much this is his first season that he has been up in the big a consistent amount. With that being siad i do believe he is hitting around .265 with four homeruns two of which have come since he became a pirate. I do not understand how you can make the comment he is not a good ball player when this is his first consistent chance in the majors. Being drafted out of highschool in the 8th round by the redsox is pretty good for someone who is not good

  • Draft position has no bearing on whether or not the player in question is going to be good. Sure, he was a superstar in high school, but that does not mean he is going to be a good major league player.

I don't like Moss because he strikes out a lot and I have failed to see much power at a premium power position. He plays average D and is hitting .192 since coming over to the NL. I think he is a great 4th outfielder, but as a day to day player I'm not sold.

  • how has he had a chance to make you sold he has not been an everyday player for even a month yet and already your closing the book on him and wow a .192 avg since coming over so i guess his .295 avg in the american league with better pitching was nothing to brag about and i agree he is in a premium power spot and again being an everyday player for less then a month can you judge his power yet? i do not think so just my opinion

  • ABs in the AL March-July: 78

ABs in August as a starter: 64

The .295 AL average could be due to a number of things, It could be that Moss thrives in a reserve role. AL pitchers may not have known the holes in his swing due to the lack of Abs available for scouting. Who knows. Calling him "Not Good" may have been harsh, but I still contend he is not an everyday starter. His SLG is above the league average though, which means he does hit for some power, but I'm not sold. Time will tell.

  • I think Moss is an awesome player. Did you see what he did tonight? Homerun and a double! I don't know why you don't like him, he seems like a great player. Give him time to better.

  • Thats cool with me. I'm just not a fan, and I say this as a Red Sox Fan. This may be hasty, but I just don't feel good about him.
