how do you go 3rd person, my rig can run the game fine but i dont have a numpad key. What is the 3rd person view called. I see the word tactical view in the control options menu do i change that? please help

@MrAlexanderXII It doesn't matter. Arma 2 is the standard game. Operation Arrowhead is the expansion pack with new maps, weps, missions, etc

there are al servers but i can not connect?

all red crosses for the servers..so do i have to download some patch or something? i hope for a respawn thnxx:)

well, if there are red crosses left of the servers, that probably means (i dont know for arma 2, but for arma 1 it is like that too) you should download patches, if you have original version of the game.

that is certanly not normal m8. maybe its just saying that if you want to uninstall the patch you have to uninstal the arma 2 and instal it again, because thats what it told me.

well, arma 1 has the worse gameplay and graphics compared to arma 2. The only reason i still play arma 1 is because it can work on my computer with all settings on high (except antialiasing, shadows and stuff). I cant even start arma 2 lol. Well, iam not sure, because i have 768mb of ram, and arma 2 requires 1024, so i dont know lol. I play project reality, call of duty 2, wow, swat 4, battlefield 2, halo, medieval 2 total war... Well, those are the games i play now. And what about you?

for a week now i play counter strike, mw2 but that was a little bit disapointing because there is no deticaded servers anymore. and it just dont work. i have wow bought yesterday so i have to instal it :P

You can't customize the weapons, but you can choose from a gigantic list of weapons with all varying attachments at the big ammo crates in the main base. You can switch guns whenever you like by using the ammo crates. Mobile HQ APC's (mobile spawn point) can carry and drop ammo boxes also.

Well, i heve some questions. Im new to ARMA. I have 1, buts its pirated , so cant play online. What i really want is to be a chopper pilot in this game. So if i buy ARMA2 and go online, is there a pilot class or stg? And in online mode, the enemies are real too or just bots? Thank you!

Arma2 has a pilot class. Most attack aircraft have one pilot and one gunner, but if it's just you alone you can also switch manual fire on and shoot. Some aircraft are just one seaters though. In online mode, there is both co-op like this, with hundreds of AI spread across various points on the map, and there is also CTF/Hold style PVP play.
