there aren't really big waves, but sometimes when the conditions are right, about 2km north of the Agrobeach resort there is a nice spot with deeper water and some ridable waves. I think Jason's Bay, Malaysia would be better. I've done some kitesurfing, and very little normal surfing, but if you're in Singapore, the best places would be Bali, or if you can make the trip, Mentawai islands is apparently world-class, but experts only.
