This is not Android 2.1, this is a specific download, ONLY for the gallery. I might not put a video out due to 2.1 coming to the DROID so soon.

I'm so eager for the update too!! So far, what i've read is that 2.1 will be released on 1/22.. i'm hoping this is true but who knows? just something to look forward too!

seriously, im 19 , havent figured out how to install 2.1 on my droid even though I rooted my droid. blackberry o.s is much easier to install.

No I am not a little kid, I am a teenager. Anyways, yes 2.1 will feature animated wallpapers, not the same ones as on the Nexus One though. However Google released the SDK so that developers can create their own wallpapers and put them in the market.

I would not update to 2.1 in this unofficial state. However since the 2.1 SDK has been released, I can expect Motorola to push out the DROID update this week or the next.
