    Thank you.

  • @biancaLkb

Thank you. I wish I had the notesheets, I've forgotten how to play it.

  • @amundb Try in imslp (dot) org/wiki/Je_te_veux_%28Satie,_Erik%29 most of these composers are now in public domain

  • Your amazing.

  • @EnragedMime189

Thanks a lot for such a nice comment.

  • You amazing.

  • Thank you for introducing this lovely piece of music to me. I shall learn it myself tomorrow afternoon

  • @aaronchocolateface

I'd like to hear you play it. I like this one too.

  • Well! Errors apart, an excellent tempo and a very good spirit!

  • @juskisiberiano

Thank you, I appreciate your comments.

  • I loved ur play...

    i keep watching n watching..

    u make me smile.

    love it.

    i want to play too.

    can u send me piece?

    hamminkyung@hotmail.com

  • @hammiehabiba

I don't have the notesheets, I just went to the library and got them there. You have the title, so perhaps you could ask for notesheets in a library near you?

  • Muy bonito.

  • @TheAnonymousmom

    Gracias. Right?

  • Your performance got straight to my heart.

You made me want to learn piano.

  • i love this piece. i think you did a great job :D

  • if i could only play like that! i envy you...

  • Try replacing that envy with a desire to learn. Take one step at a time, and a lot can happen. Don't shed your dreams.

  • *huh* I wasn't looking at your vid when it began, and was totally convinced that it was an LP! Through errors and oldschoolishness, will you marry me :D

  • No can do, I'm already picked.

Next time I'll make an effort not to make it sound like an LP. And perhaps give it a bit more practice.

  • @amundb haha, shame^^ well I loved the LP sound, but am looking forward to a new vid

  • @amundb

I kinda like that old LP sound.

  • Congratulations,,, Parabéns, vc toca muito bem

  • some mistake, but so very nice, thx

  • you said so, no polished at all.

  • Yes, and so it is. The error level is really not that acceptable.

  • Topping job, topping song, thank you, sir.

  • I appreciate such comments, although I'm not completely at my best here, I think.

  • Thank you Sir for this piece.

I am writing of protest and song and it aids my developing structure.

    Thank you.

  • Well, how fortunate for you, then.

  • I listen to this when i draw anthropomorphic pictures, It really helps me alot. So, thank you! :3

  • If I'm not mistaken, anthropo means "human" and morph means "shape" or something like that. Thus, you have my video playing while you're drawing pictures of people?

If possible, I'd much like to see your creations, especially the ones produced while listening to my video.

  • Well, basically i am a furry. I am one of those who draw humans with animal characteristics. Like tails, ears, noses and such.

I dont have a scanner though (yet) And tbh the drawings may seem a little inappopriate. But as soon i get a scanner, just howl and i'll send it to you :3

  • It seems you have your own, primal way of expressing yourself.

  • Yes, but i wish i could share it to everyone else >.>

  • I think you shouldn't make it sound like you couldn't do so.

  • I enjoyed you're version. Like I said, conrad123 has no grace. If that counts for anything anymore.

  • would satie like an asshole like you? What do YOU do? The man isn't saying he is great - he has more grace than you

  • I wouldn't be too sure about that. Besides, he does have a point; black and white videos really don't do Satie justice.

  • Sorry for making your life so miserable. I'm thinking; next time I decide to rape poor, old Satie, I will make a colour video instead.

  • bad karma!!! >;(

  • it's a kind of shy your interpretation, but i also agree, it's still Satie... hey! maybe if you embrace me suppossing you're the composer, you could play it better.... oh! what a sweetie & sensual song...

  • LOVE the middle part at 2:33

  • I agree with you, this part is quite interesting, and fun to play too, much due to the syncopations involved.

  • Comment removed

  • Merci bien pour votre interprétation. A la votre!

  • I feel like i'm in a French saloon in 1846. Great work man.

  • Thanks a lot, Monsieur. How did THAT make you feel?

  • i also felt that

  • That's absolutely true!

I can even imagine myself calling: "Garson! Monsieur! Please, wine for everybody!"

It's a very happy song and well perfomed! Thanks for sharing!

  • @OsvaldoPaese One of the best comments I have ever come across on YouTube. That's exactly the same vibe I got from this video. C'est magnifique!!

  • Btw, "Je te veux" is "I want you" in French.

  • I'm quite aware.

  • Your clumsiness can be easily overlooked, and don't detract from the enjoyment of this piece. Great work, and thank you.

  • Гарна робота

  • OK Amundb! I said: Very nice! The music is beautiful and you play very very well too.Congratulations. I think you could show your face next time. If you want, see me played brazilian country music. type there: "romaria renato teixeira" and open silvio maia plays etc. bye , God bless you.

  • My face can be seen on my other videos.

I'll check out your music shortly.

And by the way; "amundb" is just the name of my channel, I'm not addressed as such.

  • I found no silvio maia among those videos, I'm afraid.

  • muito bom! A musica é linda e vc toca muito bem tambem.

  • Sorry, I don't speak Portuguese.

  • moi je te veux...

  • I'm afraid I don't speak Italian.

  • That's french...

  • its french and it means: I WANT YOU ...I'm guessing it's a response to the song's name

  • Sometimes he made mistakes, playing is a bit clumsy, but it brought me kinda tender and romantic feelings, i love this song, good!

  • I agree about the clumsiness, I'm sure I could have rehearsed more. But I'm not mainly a pianist, really.

  • Good effort!

  • great job

  • good!!

  • very cool, this is one of my favorite songs and Gymnopedie No 1.. très bien

  • O_o You're right! lol Doesnt even look like a girl.. XD

    Hello :) Z0

  • "Aime moi,je le veux, tu serrrras ma maitrrrrreeeesse."

  • What are you talking about?

  • Lol.This is part of the lyrics when sung by a man .

  • nice!

  • I think you can make "nuances", it's a piece very musical, you must not play it like a military walk !

You could play it better !

    I do !

  • I say, Dideronalia, you can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? Military or not...

My point being; I checked out YOUR Youtube channel, expecting to leave teary-eyed after having witnessed your version of this "piece of musique tres magnifique".

However, I was left downhearted and somewhere between gray and blue, learning that no such version existed.

Conclusion: My military version may be as bad as your world may be mad, yet I find it much better than nothing.

    Awaiting your comments...

  • lol, pwned! xD

  • I find your replies as enternaining as the video itself...Top hat to you sir,and monocle as well while I'm at it...

  • Well, I must admit that I, on the other hand, must admit that your channel name appears almost as intriguing as your comments.

The thought that someone as excellent as da Vinci would actually seek to blend in, as would the species that you emulate, is in itself something of a paradox.

This Florence fellow was pretty much all over the place, so he would supposedly not be all that shy.

However, being a painter and all, his ability to blend in might help him get in touch with his colours.

  • Satie meets Ragtime!! Looks like a fun piece. Black & white is nice. Did you add an "old record" effect to the sound? Keep up the good work and the practicing.

  • i like the way u played it.

  • satie hated this piece! and he also hated le picadilly, jack in the box, and all pieces similar

  • Yeah, just like a lot of parents come to hate their kids for stuff they do...

  • lol

  • clever

  • crazyy!!

  • That´s great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I like this song huahuahauhauhauhauhauah

    It´s crazy!!!! :)

    Tiago

  • Can you send me the sheets at Ironboss_94 hot...

  • Try to find the version by Pascal Roget - it's breathtaking! How can anyone accuse Satie of "sparse textures"?!! This is a VERY difficult piece to play. The tempo is a little slow, but that's okay, since you were clearly still learning it. Forget the mistakes - I think you captured the feel of it perfectly!

  • Yeah that CD by Pascal Roge is very good. His version of Je Te Veux is the best I've ever heard. His Gymnopedies are amazing too!! I would love to watch a video of someone playing Satie's "Le Picadilly". That composition is sick..

  • I think it should be played a little "lighter", but I like the tempo.

  • Binary Land!

  • Lots of memories on this video, thank you.

  • u are a rock, u dont quit! Good job playing through the mistakes. Good luck.

  • I am not very pleased with this performance, I'm considering a remake, really.

  • stunning...

The way u play it is really amazing. Thanks for this.

  • increase your tempo a little bit.

  • If I played it any faster at that time, I'd make even more mistakes. However; thank you.

  • How about an accordion accompanying you? Ooo La La!

  • What a great idea! Thanks a bunch. A new version of this song will be posted soon.

  • i love this song.

  • So do I, I actually played it on a CD before I considered learning it. The library here in Trondheim had the notesheets needed, and that was it.

Listening to myself now, I think I should be able to make a much better version. It should be out some day within this month.

  • cool. can't wait to see the new version.

  • Very nice. 'xept for the mistakes but other then that nice playing :) I'm just learning this one. Big fan of Satie :)

  • Well, what can I say... I was just learning it then, and I expect I have too little patience nowadays, to make it shine. Anyway, thanks for the comment.

  • very fine, pretty sounds, I love satie songs

  • strange song, but cool

  • Yes, it's quite special, I think. Sounds very French.
