  • When did they explain that

  • good old Stoner B

  • John Locke "Saving Lady Gaga" Amazon Kindle .99 cents

  • None of the people on Jacob's kidnap list were from the beach camp. I always thought Jacob did not want it disturbed because that's where his candidates were & they had to be free to make their decisions. Hence we have Mr Friendly's "it's our island" speech telling Jack & Sawyer to stay in their part of the island. I don't think the Others would have voluntarily done that because Ben wanted Jack & any pregnant women. So I think the Others were told by Jacob to leave the candidates alone.

  • @polarbearhero Unfortunately, that can't be true. Even Richard didn't know about the Candidates, as is made very clear in season 6. I believe the lists that Jacob handed out where for the Others to take the people that weren't candidates so that they would be safe from the MIB.

Now, the attacks on the beach group were initiated by Ben, only because he wanted Claire for experimentation on the baby (The Others didn't know that she was a candidate as well)... continue on to next

  • @polarbearhero And Jacob being who he was, and not wanting to step in, didn't do anything to stop the attacks on the candidates.

  • The actors and writers should switch seats.

  • I disagree that saying, "That's my interpretation of it" is some kind of cop out. In interviews, the writers have always encouraged fans to draw their own conclusions, and I think that's more of what he's getting at. He also said that the basis of that scene depended on if Ben was telling the truth or not, and given Ben's track record at that point...he probably wasn't.

  • @jamiealong Exactly ive been telling people all along that Bens list, was not Jacobs list.

  • It annoys me when Damon gives us these vague explanations to the questions, he's like "That's my interpretation of it"... it's just another way of saying "I don't know." I mean I'm a big Lost fan, no doubt about it, it's an amazing, brilliant TV show and all... I'm just disappointed that they didn't bother to explain so many parts of the story, feels kind of like I was lead on...

  • @CosmicUndeadElf Like what? If you wanted everythin "Explained" CSI style Lost wasnt the show for you, However its a complete MYTH that the show didnt answer its questions, they gave more than enough info to answer every single question.
