You will either love one & hate the other, so who do you pick? This is so thought-provoking!! How can any of us think we'd die for Him if we don't live for Him! And this skit doesn't show any judgementalism since _Jesus_ (not just a man) is saying it, and he waits til they're alone again?!

However, we are not told not to judge at all, but not to judge "on outward appearance". We are told that "by their fruits you shall know them."

Oh my gosh, you know what? I never realized her friend was giving a fake ID to go to a bar. I had thought it was just "let's hang out somewhere" no worse than a coffee shop and that Jesus was upset because she didn't tell her friend about Him. And I wondered how I'm supposed to be any better, but I guess this is about living for Jesus by resisting sin, whether it's under age drinking, promiscuity, or whatever?

I have a friend on YT in Western Australia who is Buddhist and told me just so. My heart still goes out to her and her kangaroo sanctuary so I figure I can only keep being a friend and try to visit her if I have the opportunity to study abroad in Perth. That must be very hard. None of my friends are of a different religion, although I do know a few atheists. It must be hard to witness to people who are dead set believing they're already there.

I was hoping to bring some friends to a youth conference this year, but our church doesn't have a lot of money, and we just couldn't do it. We'll have to fund raise a lot to get there next year.

I really hope you get to Perth. I'll say a prayer for you and your friend. : ]

Sure speaks to ME. I get told "I don't want to hear it" so many times and told by people at Church to only share Jesus with their permission and then I go to school wondering how to share Jesus' love with others without looking like a religious fanatic. No doubt I'd talk about Jesus if someone asked, but I just don't know anymore when it's "appropriate" or when someone's simply "not ready" and would be more resistant (e.g. gay classmate who said he grew up in Church and... the rest is history).

I strive to do just that. That seems easy enough. I'm blessed to be in good standing with those around me, even classmates with the "alternative lifestyle" who know I at least don't judge them. I wonder where the passage in the Bible about being held responsible for a nonbeliever's condemnation because I "didn't warn them" and that's what really has me wondering if just being kind to them (because I just don't know what else to do) is enough. Your encouraging words are very appreciated though.
