  • I think 1981....

  • dose anyone know what year this came out???

  • I have this video loaded in my laptop right now.

I will say this about the upstairs ...

When the crowds stop coming, they will open it up.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • no i dont think they will

  • @SaraiRajac Go spam somewhere else Punjab

  • This looks like the real Graceland from the outside and the inside. Is this the real Graceland upstairs?? Some say yes, others say no. Looks pretty real to me.

  • @ceterababe I read on some "hole in the wall site" that they used a set on a sound stage for the bedroom/bathroom scenes, however according to wikipedia they did use the actual upstairs

  • @Cobra0081 I was fortunate enough to meet the guy who played the "older Elvis" in this movie down in Texas. Johnny Harra- he told me the same thing; that the upstaires of Graceland was actually used.

  • @WATCHINBEAR I buy that. It seems most people don't mainly because Graceland visitors aren't allowed up stairs but it's a little different letting a couple actors and film crew up there as opposed to over 1/2 million people per year

  • If Elvis´s girlfriend had been a woman and not a gril, she had been pending his beloved Elvis. When your partner is sick he was no left alone and is awaiting him.

Sorry my incorrect english. ELVIS FOR EVER.

  • @virginiazara I think I get what your trying to say. Elvis had to be watched at all times. However his girlfriend was a woman (physically and legally anyway) but as far as saying "Elvis has fainted" I think a 21yr old woman should be able to tell the difference between someone who's fainted and a dead body

  • Ok, Where is shows them driving up to Graceland and they walk inside, then the next scene is them walking through the Jungle room that is because that night Elvis came home from the dentist and then he went to play racquet ball and that was to shorten it for the film. I know because my dad starred in the movie

  • @lovettkenny Good point,I never thought of that.

Who did your dad play in the movie ?

  • The opening of this movie was really stupid. They pull up in front of the house then they are shown walking through the jungle room to the kitchen. And notice the girl playing Ginger,in front of the house she gets out of the car in one outfit then in the jungle room she is wearing shorts and jacket.Johnny Harrah done a fantastic job in the opening,he looked identical to Elvis.

  • Man just became totally un-glued near the end.

  • It is NOT his bedroom. It is for the film 'This Is Elvis' but not filmed in his Graceland bedroom. (this scene (with the belts) was filmed in a studio)

  • Does anyone know were the open door (@ 01:26) leads to?

  • @cobra0081000 yes, it is from the kitchen on the 1st floor, which leads there where you can see the open door.

  • @cobra0081000 I believe the open door at the top of the stairs goes to Lisa Marie's bedroom. I think her bedroom had 2 enterances. One from the top of the stairs and one that you see Elvis looking in on the movie. There is a diagram around of the second floor rooms.

  • @ceterababe When you go up the first step of stairs, the door that is open leads to a second stair case that I think goes directly to the kitchen. Saw it in a diagram in a book I have.

  • @virginiazara Could you please repeat that in English

  • i was there the night it happened elvis told me he loves his privacy

  • If I remember correctly Lisa went with them to the dentist because there is a picture of her on Ginger's lap, and Lisa said on video that he came in and told her goodnight around 3 or 4 in the morning. I always wonder why they came in the front but was seen going around in a circle. I find it so sad to think that his bedroom is like a tomb now, he loved the privacy of it so much, would stay for days up there sometimes.

  • It shows them coming in the front, and then shows Elvis and Ginger coming in the back from playing racket ball. Her clothes are different--pink pants outfit to shorts. I have a version of this from the TV which shows Elvis entering the bathroom, the guys sitting up the room in Portland, and then to Col Parker getting the call--leaves out this entire section where they find Elvis.

  • I think the going in a circle thing is just the movie makers taking the opportunity to display more of Graceland than perhaps would otherwise have been shown.

  • Is the name of the movie " This is Elvis '?

  • @memphis1414 Yes it is. And I find it funny how people can give you thumbs up on your comment yet not answer your simple question

  • The girl I guess Ginger changed clothes and they came from the back after walking in the front..lol

  • That is his bed room, but in the movie it shows them coming home then him waliking into the bathroom a then was found later dead, they left out them playing racket ball with billy and jo smith then after singing for awhile she went to bed around 6 or 7 am, he signed for a letter at 9;30 am then was seen getting his news paper at 10:00am then she woke up at 145 to 230 deppended what year she tells the story.lol just wanted you to know that yes thats his room but the story is alittle off.lol

  • @lbailey1com The world knows the story is off and that you "lol" like a 18-23 year old

  • Lol, that's they're coming to the fronsite then....watch yourself 1:16

  • that is elvis's room because i talked to a elvis shop owner and he said that johnny harra got to sleep in elvis's real bedroom for two weeks

  • i meant " I was buried in a beaver......"

  • MGM now sells both versions on dvd in a 2 disc collection for around $20. I bought mine at Walmart, but you can find it at Best Buy and other places. Ral Donner, the guy who does the narrative through the movie, is the one who over dubs Elvis' voice when he talks about "Being burried in a bever....." & "She gave great head...."

  • There are two versions of This Is Elvis. The theatrical one that was released to movie theaters in 1981. When it came to video release they added footage and made it 42 minutes longer. They also dubbed over Elvis' voice during the scenes where he cursed and used sexual description. The extended video is the one where they show his bedroom and the entrance way to the bathroom. This video is from the original theater release. The bathroom on here is suppose to be from his hotel on his next tour

  • its NOT Elvis'bedroom ! Only a scene from "This Is Elvis" filmed in studio.

  • It's weird the way you plainly see them going in through the front door yet the inside shot shows them coming from the rear door, through the den and kitchen and then approaching the front door from the other side. Good to see Graceland in the old red decor and the upstairs on this film though. The estate say only Lisa and Priscilla have been upstairs, they mean apart from all these actors and film crew then! Also who cleans up there? I also doubt if Elvis took all jumpsuits and belts on tour.

  • yep the fantatic elvis is me i did run past the guard and up the stairs and made it right up it was worth the trouble

  • I'm so angry, I just got this DVD for Christmas, because I had remembered seeing the bedroom scene here on YouTube, yup the whole bedroom scene is gone. I thought something was different and went I checked on YouTube I realized what it was. I feel like asking for my money back, they shouldn't have cut that out. Thanks for posting this, I knew I had seen it, but boy am I disappointed that they cut this out of the new DVD, I won't even watch it again.

  • I have the dvd it came with two discs and bothe versions - The film version and the video version for TV. it is definately on the video version

  • Mine came with two discs, but I haven't been able to view the second one yet, but maybe it is on there. Thanks, I will check it out.

  • Where did you get this movie I cant find it online?

  • I ordered it for Christmas from Amazon.

  • Pretty sad I remember the day he died so well. No one could sing as good as Elvis. I wonder if any fans have tried to run past the guard & up the steps at Graceland ? I could see a fanatic Elvis fan doing that.

  • That explains a whole lot to me. In the version i have they have cutting out the part between 3:28 to 5:20. Thanx for the upload.

  • @joxter74 same here

  • I need some help if possible, If anyone got the full video, I would love to have it everytime i try to download it about half way through it stops and the message on the screen said video is not aveilable can anyone help me please

    Thanks Beth

  • Iswn't it true that Elvis actually "wrote" This Is Elvis?????

If you listen to the words that are used it is much more authentic of Elvis' style of speaking.

And it certainly beats "elvis and Me" which made ELvis look like a bum.

  • It's so funny how EPE want's people to forget about this real video of Elvis' bedroom and the hallway. They want the upstairs to be sacred. It's totally off limits to everyone. This is the real deal. It was only shown once and it's in the movie This is Elvis. Also the black stutz is really Elvis'. His bedroom is very spooky. Good job

  • good insight of Elvis's bedroom
