porque cierra los dedos en el primer movimiento, si en realidad lo que haces es empujar al otro por la espalda, cuendo te viene a pegar un giro? es con mano abierta estirada y pulgar siguiendo la linea de los dedos
actually your first turning kick isn't chambered properly, the second kick is good though. Overall your performance is good but this performance is far superior all round. After all it is performed by a master.
So let me get this straight; you are a red belt, who is..I don't know 15 (same age I was as a red belt so I know what its like)...and you are criticizing Master Lu, former technical director of the ITF who, in the video is under the direct supervision of General Choi? The side kick, on that note is not too low. Think of the application, you'll be a black belt soon so you need to start looking at the technical side, not just how impressive things look.
well actually im 13 lol, and i didnt really mean to criticize Master Lu, i was kinda having a bad day lol
anyways, i just think the side peircing kick could have been held a little longer and the turning kicks could have been snapped back a little faster too
and is that really Master Lu?
anyways, thats just the way i learned it, may not necessarilly be the correct way to others
In my experience, General Choi Hong Hi is responsible for what we have come to know as ITF-Taekwondo. He was a master of Tekyon foot fighting and then he went to Japan and got his black belt in Karate. He develope a "Fighting System" known the world over as Taekwondo. It's very powerful...!
Actually. Hmmm, how do I explain this. I am part of the Universal Tae Kwon Do Federation which was created by Han Cha Kyo, the man who was given the honor of creating this hyung. We lean when we do the starting technique.
i have a question about the first movement, in Hwa Rang do you have to lean to the left when you do the pushing block before you start?? thats what my instructor told us, he said General Choi Hong Hi said that in one of his seminars
No you don't have to lean. Do it just like its done in this video. Thats master Lu doing the pattern in hte video, he trained with General Choi for decades and was head of the technical commity and education commity of the ITF.

wtfff... what is with the little bounces before each movement...? and he is going way to slow...

@bmwl0ver they call it "Sine Wave" I dont like it personally , but the ITF dig it .
General Choi changed TKD somewhere in the 90 `s . Some styles adopted the wobbly movements, others did not.

This is way too fast. He's going so fast that he doesn't even completes his techniques. Bit sloppy if you ask me.

yes, the kicks are pretty good.
but what about your sang palmok makgi? hwa rang, and tuls in general are not just about how high you can kick.
But i do have to say that you're a good kicker.

You don't lean. Ever. You don't lean when moving from ready to sitting stance.
