It's always a pleasure to hear Gil Melle blowing. I bought all of his records on vinyl in the late 50's early sixties. Unfortunately for jazz fans like myself he ventured into other things and his uniquely identifiable jazz recordings are sadly far too few - a fantastic multi-talented man in many fields who gave a lot to the world of music.
Long ago and far away is one of my favorites - Thanyou so much for posting this.
