Perhaps contouring the lip more with black and grey/taupe (pigments or lipstick) would make the lips more wearable (and matt if you want that). Pixiewoo did a tutorial on contouring red lips and the same concept would apply to any bold colour. I like your look in the video - 'goth chic'? :)

I wear black lipstick about once every week, and I LOVE it! I use Manic Panic lipstick in raven, and for liner I just use a gel or stick. It kind of dries out your lips but it keeps it there all day. It's not hard to wear once you get used to it. Hoped this helped somebody! <3

I was always a neutral/nude lipstick kind of girl...when I started getting into color like hot pinks, reds, oranges it helps to "practice" wearing them around the house like while doing laundry or something stupid & then try wearing it somewhere like the grocery store so then when you do go "out" you can wear dark or bright colors with confidence & know you look good without being all self councious. @Tici5791 Hey I had the same problem. The only thing that works for me is Carmex. Yes, the cheap Carmex from the drugstore. It may be the Salicylic Acid in it? I dunno, but it works. It stinks, so I get the cherry or strawberry scents and they smell yummy. I looked on Carmex's website and they do have Carmex in Germany, not sure if they have the flavored ones though. good luck, I feel your pain. :)
