OK I was pissed off with this one! I thought there was going to be a big battle or something but nooooooooo!!! !0 years of this fantastic programme and the ending sucked. Hopefully theres going to be a move to make up for the ending! Great to see lex which i thought was the only highlight. Shame never the less.

Even if I really like all the clark kent becoming superman, there was too much filler in the entire season. They should have put more emphasis in the actual villian, Darkseid, his three minions and maybe the returning of Lex Luthor, but whatever, I will miss this show, long lived Smallville, long lived Lois & Clark (Tom and Erica )

@westsky9 i disagree with you. the storyline should not be like a crazy complex winding new story. In my opinion what they did was perfect. there were a few filler storylines (isis, harvest, fortune) etc.

but this season has never felt so superman-ly!

everything was about the development of clark kent and it delivered! this is my opinion though. i felt the vra and clark luthor and heroes stuff was important for clark. darksied was handled greatly IMO.

@Anatriman i agree with you the 2 hour finale to an awesome series they kept good for 10 years but season ten wasnt that good to me and the finale felt like just another "episode" they shouldve show him fighting darkseid or some thing but

"SPOILER ALERT" it shows him going through flash backs for 5 minutes then BOOM! flys into him and hes dead and for lex they shouldv did more with him instead of boom im back now what bitches i mean it was ok but i had REALLY high expextations of this.

And the whole Green Arrow defeats them in one shot, why the hell didnt he do that before!?

Ugh, I was expecting more with Darkseid, but well its TV, they can only do so much.

Yeah, well I wanted to see more of Lex, but I guess that was good, not enough, I really hate they killed off Tess, but well I knew she wasn't gonna end up well.

@Anatriman its all symbolic! people didnt understand that it was only after oliver defeated the darkness in himself (with clarks help) that he could defeat them!

that was essentially orions weapon! clarks last trial was defeating darkseid and apokolips. The only way he couldve pushed that planet away was to fly, and to fly he really had to finally embrace his destiny and defeat any doubts he had! i dont understand how people didnt see all this? it was so much better than a long dramtic fight!

And yeah you have a point, but I mean comon that was just too easy, but I guess it all has to be symbolic, I mean, Im okay with the finale now, because well its hitting me slowly that smallville is ended, but yeah.

@Anatriman i guess they wanted us to figure it out ourself and didnt want any more screen time to that particular issue i guess. i think it'll really hit me, when after a month, theres still no new episode. I mean im used to going weeks without smallville, but not months. After a year or something and still realising there will never be another smallville episode. man its sad.

but its happy at the same time cos it ended so great for me and it was brilliant seeing clark end the way he did.

@Anatriman another thing ill be honest theres some episodes that i initially didnt like. Collateral-Scion all seemed among others just a bit odd. After going back and watching them, i realise how much i love those episodes! and how hilarious fortune is! i really have never enjoyed episodes the 2nd time around as much as i have in season 10!

@rollercoasterfan97 I liked Collateral, I just didnt like how they had to based the story on something else, that is the problem with tv shows and movies these days, no one has original ideas, and sometimes people dont wanna see them when they do.

I love Smallville, even if it disappointed sometimes. Yeah, I love watching the episodes the 2nd time, but I mean, they just could have done a little better in Finale.

i wasnt sure how i felt about the finale watching it the first time. But i have seriously watched it now 6/7 times (obssessed i know lol) and i just absolutely love it. I feel it was pretty much perfect. The finale was so triumphant for me, because he overcame the darkness in every way and there were things resolved id never thought id see!!

Well today Ima rewatch Finale again, I mean it was awesome yes, but in epic-battle, I mean they pulled it off with Zod last year, that was awesome. Even the Oliver fight was okay.

@Anatriman addmitedly there wasnt really an epic battle, oliver vs clark was the fighting sequence. The writers and PTB probably decided that to include an epic battle or so would take too much time (remembering titan vs clark went for pretty long!) and wanted to focus on other things they deemed more important. I never expected a big battle between darkseid and clark, so i guess thats why i wasnt dissapointed at all when i didnt really get it. I was just so excited how flew i didnt care! lol

@Mikeynlv but this show is about clark becoming superman. i am stunned at how many people are not getting this. those 5 minutes showing his past are essential. him learning to fight well does crap towards him becoming superman! this show did exactly what it needed to do! they did not need to show him fighting darkseid we know an epic fight happens later and thats not what this was about! darkseid was clarks last trial and in turn the cataylst which pushed him to do so in overcoming the darkness!

season 10 was a fail and plagued with bad writing. every episode should've been part of a chain with a singular epic plot. they brought in darksied but haven't done anything with him really. it was just a bunch of random episodes with no build up to the finale.

@Garzulable i had to do with budgets, rights and welling not really wanting to wear the suit. i dont think he actually did. definetly writers/directors werent ashamed they love that stuff. i personally didnt mind it at all. I wasnt expecting to see even a glimpse of what we got. To be honest, i was crossing my fingers in disbeleif that we would see him fly in the suit, so for the fact that i saw the suit and saw him fully flying was like :O beyond anything i expected and made me really happy!
