They should really start teaching history at Illinois State. That way you would comprehend the fact that the US created Osama and Saddam and most the other killers in the middle east. Illinois is one of the most corrupt states in the nation yet there arent rallies in the street to stop that. Focus on your fucking country before some people 3000 miles away.
You may say hi is dead but dont forget they will attack more now that there boss is dead and and a guy like him is sure to let someone walk in his footsteps and he maybe still alive but i hope obama did not lie
@sNrt We did NOT lose near a million people in those wars, you are soooo wrong, and obviouslly you're an idiot as well.
The US also managed to kill a mass murdering terrorist leader responsible for thousands of deaths.
You're trying so hard to sound like you're a good person and that everyone who is happy Bin Laden is dead is bad. You're just a little douchebag who misconstrues facts to look good on Youtube.
Don't look up a fucking video like this if you're against it, bitch.
@jonah232 Are you that fucking retarded? You didn't LOSE nearly a million YOU KILLED nearly a million people!! You know..the Iraq war...the Afghanistan war? All started over Bin Laden.. "Don't look up a fucking video if you're against it" Haha ever hear of that concept of "freedom of speech"? You know that shit americans like to peddle to the rest of the world? Jonah stay in school child..the american education system works!
@sNrt Nah, you're STILL wrong, er havn't come close to that number. I figured you meant losses, because their are no official reports of civilian deaths, but I know that we havn't killed almost a million people, especially when California has a larger population than Iraq or Afghanistan. We havn't bombed Iraqi or Afghani cities nearly enough to cause half that, and our occupation is merely patrols, not full on invasion, you're so goddamn wrong.
@sNrt Free speech, for people who know how to use it, what you do is bash America with untrue facts, obvously you looked this video up, and Afghanistan was started over Osama, Iraq was a corrupt war.
American's only give free speech to people who deserve it.
@jonah232 In the wake of 9/11 Bush came out and said that Saddam had links to Al-Qaeda.FACT. This was later proven to be complete bullshiiit.FACT. The Washington Post (You know that american newspaper) reported that close to 655,000 CIVILIANS alone died since the invasion in 2003(I'll private msg you the link if u want).FACT. There are close to 100.000 US troops in Afghanistan..hardly "mere patrols". I am glad you understand the term occupation though. Please get educated.
@sNrt Yeah because everything America reports is true. 100,000 soldiers is a lot, unless you realize that they're DOING MERE PATROLS, LIKE I SAID! THEY'RE NOT STORMING BEACHES OR SEIZING CITIES, THEY'RE PATROLLING CITIES FOR TERRORISTS OR INSURGENTS!
Numbers means nothing, I said what they were doing!
I also know that Bush was a bullshit president, I agree with you on that. I'm not justifying the Iraq war, sir.
The bar that i go to will be having a dead "osama bin laden" party this saturday , my mom even wants to come , gonna get totally wasted , it will be an awsome party !
this is awesome!!!! .. wish i couldve been there to celebrate... and everyone who is saying this is wrong is fucked up in the head. over 3000 innocent lives taken, people jumping off buildings, burning, and not having a chance to say goodbye to there families all cause osama bin laden. We should go get his body out of the sea and piss on it, then light it on fire and throw it off a building in the middle of iraq. then celebrate some more! see how they like that shit for a traditional burial!!!
I'm happy as anyone but sometimes people around the world might get the wrong idea seeing a bunch of white rich(majority) college kids running around with their shirts off cheering USA after someone was killed. I crack opened a beer and high fived my roommate. I didn't run around like the Bears won the Super Bowl. Just saying. Oh well, it's just College kids
this is a big rally...... but osama killed way more than thats there..... spewin...... cheerin and laughing wont bring back the dead ya retards... AUSTRALIA BRAAA fuckin american cockheads
@sparkyinbath Humble? Yea I'll be humble and respectful when someone dies that is worth my time. Bin Laden? No I will dance in the streets all I want for what he did to my fellow countrymen.
I'm glad Osama is history. AND, this is SO wonderful and encouraging. Young "patriots" in their 20s celebrating Osama's death. I wonder how many who have not served in the military will enlist to continue to fight the war on terrorism......or will they simply go back to drinking, eating, shopping, partying, and watching American Idol until their next opportunity to show their "patriotism."
This makes me embarrassed to be an ISU student. Have any of these people contemplated what his death actually means or changes? The amount of stupidity in this video is enraging.
@mfluffyk thank you for your condescending thoughts of all the students who wanted to celebrate the killing of someone who was a symbol of terrorism and death throughout the world. While you probably looked out the window at all the "idiots" rallying outside, I was a part of that rally, feeling more proud of being an American than I have in years. Given the state of the country, America needed something to celebrate together. God Bless America, fuck osama, and fuck your pessimistic attitude.
@bfmcgee Just because I'm not celebrating the death of another human doesn't mean that I'm sympathetic to him or his views. What I'm saying is that the cost of this "justice" for the victims of 9/11 came at such a high cost as to be completely meaningless. 10 years later, trillions of dollars later, 700 thousand civilian casualties later, and 7000 US military casualties later Bin Laden is dead and apparently "justice" has been done. Totally worth it.
@packeropie There is nothing pretentious about not taking part in the rally. Some of us didn't feel the need to celebrate the death of one man. Sure, people may say that this is justice for 9/11 victims, but at what cost? 6000+ US soldiers, ~ 750,000 civilians dead. It seems unbelievably petty to be rejoicing over one man's death, when we should be mourning the deaths of many others.
@demkomusic let me rephrase. I do not think that people who did not participate in the rally are pretentious. I DO think that people leaving comments saying that they it was a bunch of drunken nonsense and that people are foolish for taking one day to commemorate the accomplishment of something that our country has been trying to accomplish for almost 10 years, as well as showing some respect for those who were effected by 9/11, IS pretentious. nobody is saying...
@demkomusic this is total justice either. and obviously nobody is saying it's a good thing that so many people have died due to the events that have unfolded since 9/11. but there's nothing wrong with taking a sense of pride in your country. if you (general, not you personally demkomusic) didn't participate for whatever reason, that's your prerogative. but hatin' on everyone that did just because you have the false imperssion that it was some mindless drunken party is pretentious.
ISU has had many riots in the past and most of them were for reasons that weren't as good as this one. I'm sorry, but walking around chanting "USA" after Osama's death is a better reason than to start a riot after the Sox won the world series so stop hating. Besides, all those students who got mad at the noise were probably facebooking every 5 seconds anyways.
to all the pretentious holier than thou "better students" out there who weren't about to come down from their high horse to at least commend an act of patriotism like this and take pride in their country, all I have to say is this: I was at this rally...it was peaceful rally featuring no drunkenness, and was purely a show of respect for the families and loved ones of those who were killed on that day. how pompous of you to belittle something like that and dismiss it as drunken stupid partying.
@mfluffyk your use of vague rhetoric simply shows that you decided to completely disregard my point. I can't speak for the masses, but I am not "proud" that we assassinated someone. I'm simply glad that the families of those killed in the attacks on 9/11 can feel like they have at least a sliver of closure after 10 years. even if not all the families feel closure, if at least some of them do, then I feel glad. certainly the death of one guy doesn't undo anything...
@mfluffyk but I don't see why we can't feel glad for a family who had a loved one tragically taken away, and show some pride in our country in the process.
Fuck the assholes who think we are idiots for rallying. You all can go lie in a ditch and die somewhere. This is America. Leave this beautiful country and STFU. You're polluting the US with your cynical attitudes.
I don't think it matters what happened to instigate this impromptu rally of sorts. I had the opportunity to be at Illinois State when president Obama was elected and the same exact thing happened. Regardless of your opinion (which no one cares about), this had to have been fun. Fact. Takes a lot of pressure off of students for their finals and it was a great last "huzzah" of the school year
Meanwhile, all of the real students who go to school for an education are in their dorm room trying to force their earplugs as far as they can into their head to block out the noise of drunk and unintelligent screams of "peace" so they can be rested for their finals in the morning. Thank god for sleeping pills.
@EVILdubstep I dare you to belittle everyone that was there just for fun was drunk again. You're just a boner that doesn't like to have fun and think that everyone is always drunk. Sorry for partying
@EVILdubstep I was there. I wasn't drunk. As a matter of fact I'm pretty sure the majority of the people there weren't drunk. I've honestly never felt quite a feeling like being a part of something like that. Sorry that you don't understand how big of a deal this is. And sorry us celebrating something that our country's been trying to accomplish for almost a decade may have kept you up a little late. You're lucky that's the worst you've had to deal with because of Osama bin Laden.
@EVILdubstep In case you haven't noticed, ISU wasn't the only place that had this kind of reaction. Celebrations like this occurred not only across the country, but all over the world. So it seems we were pretty justified in how we reacted. Excuse us for coming together when the head of al Qaeda, who's made it clear over the past 2 decades that his sole goal was to bring down America by killing innocent citizens, was finally taken down. Get over yourself.
@krroden The US has killed ~9,000 innocent civilians in Afghanistan and 850,000+ innocent civilians in Iraq since 9/11. Hardly comparable to the ~3,000 that were killed during 9/11 (the only successful attack on US soil). Might as well put Bush or Obama on the most wanted list. Excuse me for thinking that theres another viewpoint other than the typical American's perspective. Get over yourself.
@EVILdubstep Regardless of your perspective, the fact of the matter is you went out of your way to comment on this video and accuse everyone at the rally of being 'drunk and unintelligent' when that wasn't the case. We can agree that we have different views on what happened, but people have the right to celebrate what they want without being accused of only doing so because we're students who only attend college to party, and not to earn an education.
@krroden Ok well then if you have the right to riot until 2am during finals week, I have the right to be pissed when I lose sleep over it. Nice arguing with you, I had fun! ;)
@EVILdubstep Actually you are wrong it wasnt the only successful attack on US soil....maybe you have forgotten about the attack on pearl harbor. Just saying get your facts straight.
Utilitarian Philosophy! I just figure having fun that night just BARELY starts to counteract the pain caused by him. If having a good time is at his expense, then so be it. His joy was at the expense of human lives CAUSED by him. Ours was at his ending.
none of these kids actually give a fuck. just an exuse to go out and party during finals. go back to drinking and smoking weed. im pretty sure a couple flags were used inappropriately in this. (capes, touching the ground) . I can care less if hes dead or not. and i lost a loved one in 9-11 but u dont see me hating cause getting revenge and killing him aint going togive me closure nor will it bring back a close friend.
@AbidM89 Im sorry about ur friend I would not wish that on my most hated enemies... But how come you have to put down such a great exhibit of patriotism such as this... Sure some came bc they wanted to get away from finals but still its great how we all came out and supported our great country. With all the fighting and disagreement amongst the people, its relieving that we had the ability to come together and forget the negatives and focus on the positives. this displayed what America is about!
@spithard614 yes we celebrated a death, normally i would not partake in such festivities. But what I remember is he is the reason why 3000+ citizens of the world (not just America) died. This man caused way too much harm for ones sake, that was only the harm he caused to citizens of the west. Think about the citizens we share to the east, they lost many brothers and sisters too.
@ilstu18 The bar that i go to will be having a dead "osama bin laden" party this saturday , my mom even wants to come , gonna get totally wasted , it will be an awsome party !
@ilstu18 Justice? I think not everyone who celebrated his supposed death is either ignorant of the facts or has been deceived by MSM. This video is sad. Our country is full of mindless sheep. No longer do we think for our selves and do investigative research/reporting but just trust the gov. True justice would be the imprisonment and death sentence of bush and all his staff under grounds of treason and the impeachment of obama for continuing bush's agenda
@jimwatt5 I'll celebrate even more when Bush, Obama and any major American political figure dies since they lead to 100.000+ citizens (civillians) death in Iraq and Afghanistan.
People calling Osama a mass murderer should look at their rulers and reflect.
@bfmcgee Remeber on 9/11 when they were celebrating and people here were mad? Yea we're doing the same thing,so basically we look like a bunch of hypocrites for doing the same thing. If this is what America does then I want no part in it
@SpitHard614 Yea he killed thousands of innocent Americans. I take pride in the fact that he is dead and I was able to celebrate it with my fellow Americans. You should probably move out of the country and slap all of the families of the victims in the face while you're at it. No respect.

@krroden Ok well then if you have the right to riot until 2am during finals week, I have the right to be pissed when I lose sleep over it. Nice arguing with you, I had fun! ;)

@EVILdubstep Oh boo friggin hoo. It was a great day for america. Go be anti american somewhere else.
bfmcgee 10 months ago
@EVILdubstep Actually you are wrong it wasnt the only successful attack on US soil....maybe you have forgotten about the attack on pearl harbor. Just saying get your facts straight.
HockeyChick1033 10 months ago
@HockeyChick1033 Oh, I didn't realize that Al Qaeda conducted Pearl Harbor... I guess you learn something new everyday!
EVILdubstep 10 months ago
And half of the middle east did the same after 9/11... It's all disgusting.

Utilitarian Philosophy! I just figure having fun that night just BARELY starts to counteract the pain caused by him. If having a good time is at his expense, then so be it. His joy was at the expense of human lives CAUSED by him. Ours was at his ending.
Daniel4119 10 months ago
none of these kids actually give a fuck. just an exuse to go out and party during finals. go back to drinking and smoking weed. im pretty sure a couple flags were used inappropriately in this. (capes, touching the ground) . I can care less if hes dead or not. and i lost a loved one in 9-11 but u dont see me hating cause getting revenge and killing him aint going togive me closure nor will it bring back a close friend.

@AbidM89 I didn't know you were officer buzzkill. I guarantee not even one percent of those students were high or drunk you dumbass
orlandoman54 10 months ago

@jimwatt5 WELL said!!!!!!!!!!!! justice for the families of the victims of 9/11 and other attacks by Osama!!!!
ilstu18 10 months ago 5
@ilstu18 How is it justice? Celebrating isn't going to bring any of them back. You people make America look real bad,be humble

@ilstu18 The bar that i go to will be having a dead "osama bin laden" party this saturday , my mom even wants to come , gonna get totally wasted , it will be an awsome party !
sprylama 10 months ago
@ilstu18 Justice? I think not everyone who celebrated his supposed death is either ignorant of the facts or has been deceived by MSM. This video is sad. Our country is full of mindless sheep. No longer do we think for our selves and do investigative research/reporting but just trust the gov. True justice would be the imprisonment and death sentence of bush and all his staff under grounds of treason and the impeachment of obama for continuing bush's agenda
JustStat 9 months ago
@jimwatt5 I'll celebrate even more when Bush, Obama and any major American political figure dies since they lead to 100.000+ citizens (civillians) death in Iraq and Afghanistan.
People calling Osama a mass murderer should look at their rulers and reflect.

@SpitHard614 Yea Osama deserves such respect right?
bfmcgee 10 months ago
@bfmcgee Remeber on 9/11 when they were celebrating and people here were mad? Yea we're doing the same thing,so basically we look like a bunch of hypocrites for doing the same thing. If this is what America does then I want no part in it
SpitHard614 10 months ago
@SpitHard614 Yea he killed thousands of innocent Americans. I take pride in the fact that he is dead and I was able to celebrate it with my fellow Americans. You should probably move out of the country and slap all of the families of the victims in the face while you're at it. No respect.
bfmcgee 10 months ago
@bfmcgee So when we bombed those places after this happened we didn't kill innocents right?
SpitHard614 10 months ago
@SpitHard614 good then leave
