  • boobie miles was fucking good

  • Public Enemy was one of the Best parts of this movie

  • TEXAS FOOTBALL dnt PLAY!!

  • Comment removed

  • whats the name of the song in the beginning?

  • @13GFly it's "Bring the Noise" by Public Enemy. listen to it, it's raww.

  • What college did he play for?

  • @FFbum88 - Boobie played for Cisco Junior College for a short period.

  • @FFbum88 he never played again,he had a career ending injury

  • @coy935 if he wouldnt have tried 2 play on it like he did he could have returned and possibly went to the pros

  • @jconingt yup,very true

  • boobie, you didnt lift.

  • AND HE CAN PASS!!!

  • LET ME SPIN COACH

  • I didn't go to school with him but i saw Boobie play in 1987 V Amarillo High and in the playoffs V Amarillo Palo Duro-Bi District.....He was the real deal.....He was big and fast and had "The Moves".....even Though both Amarillo teams lost that year, it was so nice to have seen him play especially after F N L came out and brought light to his situation and West Texas Football.....I feel he would have made the pros easily before the knee..... Cheers.....El Fat Boy Texcino

  • to bad he did come back but he played for a very small college they he neverd played the same after it dont belive me look it up and the movie is not even fully true!

  • Thanks for the advice. I just might do that.

  • GAINES IS BACK!!

  • Thanks for replying. I'll keep that in mind.

  • Thanks for the reply bud. I've tried all kinds of avenues. Good luck.

  • I am really wanting to see some footage of the real boobie miles. I am wondering how good he actually was. does anyone know of any that exist on youtube.

  • i could never find any on u tube maybe google or look up permian football onlimne

  • he was awesome on the dvd extras they have videos of him hes awesome

  • if you have the movie go to the extra secens or look at the real 1988 team after the movie over

  • lol there is no real footage only has 1 break away run in an interview with him on the FNL dvd, but if your wondering how good he was he has a room full of letters. and its not like a few crates its a FULL room of letters. he was the real deal, unfortunately he couldnt overcome a torn acl which was 1 of the hardest things to do back then.

  • Thanks for the reply. Man....the movie made him out to be the next Adrian Peterson. Maybe he was.

  • he had letters from every school at that time no joke. he was a great player. arrogant, but good. idk how well he would of done in the college lever, but he was a full back in hs not a tail back so he was bigger than most ppl think

  • Did you go to school with him, or do you just know a lot about him?

  • lol im 20 bro i got to school at Loyola Maryland. so no i did not go to school with him. however, he was a favorite after reading the book. he was really number 35 and was the full back. you can find a lot of this online too. Chavez played TE no saftey and Billingsley was the tailback. Comer was the actual 45. oh and they lost to Dallas in i believe semi's not the finals

  • @JuggernautG24 ya chavez also played D line tho he was a beast so its weird they put him as saftey in the movie

  • ya i know it was weird, but i guess it made it all fit in. he was a big guy so idk why they depicted him as a smaller guy. o well still the movie was great

  • @JuggernautG24 I uploaded a game that has footage of him....

  • @wadeccockrill - Yes, on this vid (search for): 1987 Permian Arlington James "Boobie" Miles --- now, this is when he was a junior, but naturally no footage of his exploits as a senior exist since he was injured in a scrimmage before the season even started.

  • whats that song

  • terminator X...NWA maybe?

  • "Bring the Noise" by Public Enemy

  • Comment removed

  • he's a beast

  • haha 0:32

  • alright it looks like im talking to myself lol but i was responding to certain peoples comments. idk why it didnt make my comment appear below the person's comment i responding to.

  • college recruiters don't care how you act really. U get lookd at by if you have good grades and if you can play watever sport.

  • to play college football you have to have 2.4 GPA and get a 16 on the ACT i think.....grades dont matter that much

  • thats wrong.

if the coaches at a college were looking at you and another player to play football(or any sport) and you were both about even. they will pick the one with better grades.

  • thats wrong.. they will pick the better athlete, they dont care how smart u are as long as you can keep above a 2.4

  • no, im saying if both of the athletes are EVEN IN ATHLETICS, but one is SMARTER, than they'll choose that one.

  • BOOBIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • actually, several d-1 colleges, including houston and texas a+m were asking him to play for them, but he tore his acl

  • If you look it up, he ended up playing a year in Jr College, The movie rocked, but yes his knee was never the same

  • He failed out his first year there too

  • ummmmmmmmmmok

  • boobie was hurt during a practice, and we didn't lose to carter in the finals but in a rainstorm in austin in the semis. also, a little known fact, the uil took that state title away from carter because all their players were flunking in class.

  • yeah didnt he get hurt in a scrimmage or something?

  • BOOBY IS SOOOOO COOL

  • NEW INFO! haha boobi didnt even go to any of the playoff games. in fact he quit before the season ended. if u wanna know more comment my page. and i will send u the whole story of what really happened.

  • i think it showed on here that he kind of quit when he took out all his stuff out of his locker, but how do you know he didnt even go to the games though

  • really it showed that he was done. because of his knee. and my dad is ivory christian.

  • you're a lyin sack of shit. ivory christian is NOT your dad.

  • he quits in real life. i read the book. he didnt go to the games, he quit the team completely.

  • yup its true. he didnt come to support the team or w/e he just was a poor sport and quit the team completely.

  • damn but thats bogus he got injured and was about to go to texas or USC thats fucked up i would cry my fuckin eyes out if that happened to me

  • the same shit happen to me... I was a top prospect for NC State, Clemson, & UGA... I broke my leg from a illegal chop block. Now I have a metal plate in my leg. D1, D1aa, & D2 didn't want to give a me a chance so I went with D3. I tried to overdose on pain killers one time because I didn't know how to handle it. But my D3 coaches taught me how to enjoy life & we won the D3 championships. Now I am a graduate with a degree in Aviation. So yeah its hard but you gotta move on. I was 6'2 192 CB.

  • Rightttttttt

  • ur a joke wait to lie and go fuck urself

  • man boobie is to damn cocky..dats why he got injured

  • "if you wana win put boobie in" ahaha good movie...

  • the movie was so off. permian didnt even make it to the state finals that year. and boobi miles got hurt before the season started in a scrimmage

  • it was about 90% true. some major differences like chaves was a tight end, boobie was tenchically a fullback, some other stuff but it was still a good movie

  • nahh i would say bout 75% he got hurt in a scrimmage. they didnt make it to state. you said he was a fullback. and you said chaves was a tight end. so yeah

  • this is god given all i got to do is show up lol

  • wat song is that

  • Bring the Noise by Public Enemy

  • terminator x by public enemy

  • DUDE U SHUD TOTALLY INVEST IN A TRIPOD

  • u wanna win? put boobie! let me spin!

  • yall wanna win bt boobie in im gonna spin

  • i wonder what kind of player would he have been in college or maybe the NFL if he didn't get injured?

  • i think like larry johnson or adrian peterson

  • with that attitdue, not likely even a d1 college would accept him

  • you would be suprised. hahaha you see all those cocky nfl players they were the same.

  • he was actually a fullback in real life

  • he was really number 35 but derek luke did his thing in this move

  • Yeah the that Lee Jackson Young playd (Chris Comer)was the real number 45.

  • who was the starting rb

  • Boobie was,

  • no he was the fullback

  • yeah but he didnt play the real role of a fullback, but the other back was billingsley if that's wut you're asking. then comer took boobie's role.

  • then who was running back? if it wasnt boobie then who

  • Chris Comer in the film, Don Billingsley in real life.

  • they both started in the backfield right?comer at halfback and billinglsey was fullback. yeah boobie even says billingsley doesnt need to worry about fumbling the ball becuase "he is just going to be blocking for boobie anyway"

  • read the book

he got more carries and touchdowns =P

  • he was also a great blocker and a runner, this game was based off of a game he had as a junior. he scored like 5-7 tds as a fullback in the game

  • nastyyyyy

  • this is from the movie Friday Night Lights

  • i love boobie wat a shame bout his knee

  • im better hahaha jk

  • damn boobie milez iz a fuckin' beast
