Sorry... the reality is that we're all divided.
Christians/Religious is a seperate debate, but truthfully everything is connected. It's like a tree, it all starts from the root, and grows and grows into leafs, and branches.
You TWAT. Tell us another time in history when net annual immigration stood at 300,000 for 12 years and counting. Every period of invasion has caused intense pain and upheaval. So far thanks to labour we have got to build another four Birminghams. Where? It is nothing but deliberate gerrymandering of the national vote. And stop squawking about racism the word has become debased and redundant you parrot-brained CUNT.
Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.
What do you think giving up sovereignty means? What would that include? I agree that we should remain a country with independent laws, if that is your concern. But they do not exist in a vacuum. Laws about finance, corporations, industry practices, human rights, banking, medicine, etcetera have to be quite global because those entities are global. Medicine for example, often is invented by European teams, England alone cannot afford to invest the huge sums required for the massive projects.
Of course I want us to be Independent from any other nation on this Planet. And yes, we should trade with the World, as well as EBE's (If they do exist). However, giving up the way we govern ourselves to un-elected "unseen" dictators in Europe is not what I want, nor will I agree to leave one segregated nation to another bigger group of segregated nations.
I'm not English, I'm Scottish. And the United Kingdom can operate without having to become dictated too.
You use the phrase 'dictation' too easily, particularly as the EU is far from dictatorial, operating as it does on complex principles of voting and democracy. Give examples of where UK policy has been directly dictated by the EU and why you disagree with it. Otherwise all you're doing is disagreeing with something that isn't in effect, which is the definition of scaremongering.
We are about to be forced to drive around in broad daylight with full headlights a la Netherlands and Scandinavia. An edict from the cunts in Brussels.
Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.
And before you suggest we could if we just stopped giving money to foreign countries I suggest you do some research into the figures. Secondly, by investing in Europe, and by contributing the global eradication of poverty we ARE putting our people first. The development of global economics to a more equal level is good for ensuring UK prosperity and, perhaps most importantly, peace. "No man is an island"The UK government inevitably acts FOR the UK people. It is stupid to think otherwise.
Yes. lets invest in Europe. While the UK is the most soft-touch Cntry in Euro, people from all over the World will continue to come here and take jobs away from the people in this Country, including those who have already successfully immigrated to this Country!
You cannot help everyone, it's impossible. Why? because we're all divided. We talk about Africa, yet a lot of people ignore the vast sums of money pumped into Africa, as well as what's been explioted from it, Yet people still suffer.
The money "pumped into" Africa is minute if you consider its vast scale. It has 1 billion people. The "immigrants taking our jobs" argument is facile and everyone knows that. Anyone who has had their job 'stolen' by an immigrant wasn't educated enough to be doing anything remotely sophisticated. I suggest they go back to school and learn to do something that can't be done by a machine or someone who will do it for pence. Suggest jobs they have taken that UK people would happily do.
Okie stanthewolf, you may want to debate about what's exactly happening this Country, and of course, we're both going to have different views.
Immigrants are coming to this Country, and statistics do show it. Such as, over 800,000 new national insurance cards were issued, compared with the 200,000+ entering the workforce. Odd statistics, and besides... people in the EU can move freely to the UK, and when the EU expands (Which it will) I wonder If Turkey will really be joining?
It's no longer Africa, is it... now it's India, and many parts of Asia which requires vast sums of investment to eradicate poverty! While I would agree to do this, but not with a bunch of dictators and criminals which we allow to continue to dictate & kill their poeple!
I don't believe in converting them, once you comit yourself to such crimes, you should understand the punishment!
Like Gaddafi, or Mugabe and many others! No better than Saddam Hussein, then again that was just for OIL!
Don't conflate the suffering of people in a country with the ruling elite of that country. Many of the agencies that operate to reduce poverty don't function through government. It is even worse to punish a people for their being oppressed. Your problem is that you want to appear reasoned in your isolationist view, but it isn't reasoned; it is emotional. You 'feel' it is wrong, for whatever psychological reason, and then try and rationalise that. Try thinking about why you feel that way.
I see stan, so you don't agree with my view on punishing those who have killed many Africans? You don't agree with me on maybe gaining the trust of the African people, and then sending our armed forces (once they are no longer politically infected) to remove these regimes, and restore order and then invest vast sums of money help these people.
Oh, and I did not mean to say "oppress", if that's how it came across. Our so-called Countries that preach love, music and peace... sit back and do nothing. Oh, I know we talk, debate and try and help for these many decades... but, that's not enough in my eyes or how many more people have to die, as well as Children and Women. How many more?
Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.

No it takes a fool like you to be so ignorant of what goes to make up our history, heritage and identity. You are an educational washout who finds it expedient to deny what he is incapable of appreciating. Fuck off and take your uninvited carpetbagging fugitive comrades with you.
I just love how the world goes on about going green by moving all its pollution to be centered in China. They don't buy from the UK because we only really have financial services and those industries are insolvent and proped up by the governemnt. Making the government and therefore country insolvent.
Brown and the bankers should be hung, credit crunch 2 or currency crunch will finally finish us. then as labour did in the 70's they be calling the IMF for a loan.
You can't have capitalism to make you rich then socialist policy to save it when it fails its nonsense. The problem with labour no one is ever allowed to fail weekening the whole system and thats why the country is going broke.
Helping illegals, helping families that can't stop having kids on the backs of the state, helping bankers that can't stop gambling where does it end in chaos thats where and sooner or later it will come.
Keynsian economics doesen't work, stimulus on stimulus i.e. debt on debt is not the solution.
Casino banking and consummerism are not the answer for the UK. Why is the current account deficit £600 billion because britain is a net importer of goods.. Everyday the £ goes down why because of labours debt mountain, how long before currency defaults and we go way of Iceland.
Stan your dreaming regulation and government caused this problem in the first place.
Interest rates were kept and are being artificially low by the BOE, the housing bubble was created on the back of this to avoid a recession after the stock market bubble in 2000. Its bubble on bubble, by allowing the banks to go down would have wiped the debt out. Banks have been going bust since beginning of time only labour were too scared to take the necessary medicine!
Spamula30 - The banks, if left to go bust, would have destroyed the US and UK economy. Not only would your business have been a casualty but most businesses and moreover, credit and debit cards would no longer work! Money itself would collapse! I feel the anger that you have towards the banks, my own debt is very high, but we cannot allow that anger to play into the hands of those who failed us. We must support Labour's attempts to regulate the banking industry so this never happens again.
Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.
We are not exporting shit thats the problem, we have little manufacturing its all made in a polluter in china with little or no human rights.
The banks should have been left to go bust or at least the majority. Where is my bailout for the sinking £ vs Yen? My buisness is screwed becaue of labour and their friends the banks. Blair has just signed with JP morgan for £500k a year!
Ok thats fine then lets spend every penny the country doesen't have untill we are all living in cardboard boxes. Tax, spending and regulation that will make verything better.
Its the private sector that funds this socialist merry go round and the country is going broke. I have just lost my business as the £ has crashed against the yen and are therfore technically unemploed thanks to this labour government.
Yes, but at least Gordon can still borrow billions to give 10 billion away to other countries.
I mean he wouldn't want to help British people, he wouldn't want British businesses to survive, or make jobs for our youth when they can go to sweat shops in the Far East.
He's a true global socialist, he saves the world by bankrupting us and leaving us in the gutter.
This is only true if one considers the British people to be independent of global citizenship. Our country is a leading exporter and producer and if we do not contribute to the development of the global economy then our own will collapse far more spectacularly than you fear it will. But more fundamentally than this, Britain is a philanthropic country because it is the right thing to do, not because we can afford to when it suits us, but because we must do the right thing for the right reasons.
Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.
Spamula30 - The pound has lost value against the Yen not because of the Labour government but because of the inappropriate actions of large banks and lending schemes. It is only because of the timely and brave decisions made by Gordon and his advisers that we are slowly pulling out of the recession, when you will see the pound stronger again. Cameronomics is flawed according to most economics professors. The opportunist slashing of public expenditure the Tories will implement will be fatal.
Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.
People forget about the surplus under the Tories in 97', what do we have now a £600 billion deficit.
Labour have given £1.2 trillion to the banks, they should have let a few go down the plug hole to teach the twats a lesson. But oh no the British tax payer will payout for generations thanks to Gordon, thats if sterling doesen't crash and we have to get a bailout by the IMF.
Also Labour destroyed the country in the 70's and only Maggie had the courage to fight the unions grip on the country.
Well I see a poor Christmas for the retail sector. March/April time when they have done their sums a few will go bankrupt, most will downsize. Higher unemployment, more tax rises and our currency looking like monopoly money (hyper-inflation). What does Brown do? 50p tax on my phone, petrol is now £1.07 per litre and yobs rule the streets!
I think printing money and NOT letting bad companies go bankrupt is and will always be the wrong policy!!!!!! You are doing the same thing that got us into the mess but making it even worse. Complete lunacy - good luck. Please don't follow the Obama rulebook.
they have been in power for over a decade ofcourse there going to lose the general election, it's been a terrible year for him, mps expenses, economic crises, swine flu and a refusal to give the british people a referendum, i am suprised he is still here.
The thing that cracks me up is that everyone behind Gordon Brown look utterly defeated! Is Brown the only guy left in the world that thinks he has a chance next general election? Please...
So now the 80's and 90's are considered an era without prosperity or advancement? Really?
The single largest leap for mankind in all of history and G Brown looks at this period as a failure of some sort. What fuckin planet were you living on for two decades you dumb mother fucker?
Mass unemployment (increased 3 fold under Thatcher), the closure of the pits, soaring child poverty and socio-economic inequality: what a great leap forward Thatcher and the Tories made for Britain.
You mean to tell me that Britain couldn't prosper during the boom caused by the internet during the 90's. Since I'm not from GB I really don't know what your economic condition was during the 90's, but goddamn if you cant make it during a time when the rest of the world was booming, a time when economist were equating the internet to the advent of the railroad in order of historical importance, then you're really fucked now. Go ahead and elect some big gov people, it served you so well.
yeah i remmeber white thatcher vans going around with the slogan , 'never give into the poor' 'taking peoples stuff and making them homeless i was suprised they was able to produce readybreak and oats with all those caravans around the farms and wildchildren pulling tractors apart, i remmeber mid 90s the council finally housing a family that had lived rough for 6 years and children as old as 8 not toilet trained was completely shameful but yeah its not that bad yet
Socialism is full of 'do-gooders' that know nothing of the negative consequences of their actions. Furthermore they cannot handle economics as well as the Conservatives.

Lib-Dems (to break the parliamentary stronghold between Lab & Con);
UK Independance Party (to minimise immigration & fight against European Union); or
British National Party (to preserve British heritage, and culture against religous extremists).
Let's make both labour and conservative parties EXTINCT

So far thanks to labour we have got to build another four Birminghams. Where? It is nothing but deliberate gerrymandering of the national vote. And stop squawking about racism the word has become debased and redundant you parrot-brained CUNT.

Do you think we're too thick to realise that Brown is scapegoating the banks? He personally set up the FSA and laid the ground rules which they merely abided by.
pec104 2 years ago
What do you think giving up sovereignty means? What would that include? I agree that we should remain a country with independent laws, if that is your concern. But they do not exist in a vacuum. Laws about finance, corporations, industry practices, human rights, banking, medicine, etcetera have to be quite global because those entities are global. Medicine for example, often is invented by European teams, England alone cannot afford to invest the huge sums required for the massive projects.
stanthewolf 2 years ago
Of course I want us to be Independent from any other nation on this Planet. And yes, we should trade with the World, as well as EBE's (If they do exist). However, giving up the way we govern ourselves to un-elected "unseen" dictators in Europe is not what I want, nor will I agree to leave one segregated nation to another bigger group of segregated nations.
I'm not English, I'm Scottish. And the United Kingdom can operate without having to become dictated too.
eBritishIdentity 2 years ago
You use the phrase 'dictation' too easily, particularly as the EU is far from dictatorial, operating as it does on complex principles of voting and democracy. Give examples of where UK policy has been directly dictated by the EU and why you disagree with it. Otherwise all you're doing is disagreeing with something that isn't in effect, which is the definition of scaremongering.

It is stupid to think otherwise.
stanthewolf 2 years ago
Yes. lets invest in Europe. While the UK is the most soft-touch Cntry in Euro, people from all over the World will continue to come here and take jobs away from the people in this Country, including those who have already successfully immigrated to this Country!
You cannot help everyone, it's impossible. Why? because we're all divided. We talk about Africa, yet a lot of people ignore the vast sums of money pumped into Africa, as well as what's been explioted from it, Yet people still suffer.
eBritishIdentity 2 years ago
The money "pumped into" Africa is minute if you consider its vast scale. It has 1 billion people. The "immigrants taking our jobs" argument is facile and everyone knows that. Anyone who has had their job 'stolen' by an immigrant wasn't educated enough to be doing anything remotely sophisticated. I suggest they go back to school and learn to do something that can't be done by a machine or someone who will do it for pence. Suggest jobs they have taken that UK people would happily do.
stanthewolf 2 years ago
Okie stanthewolf, you may want to debate about what's exactly happening this Country, and of course, we're both going to have different views.
Immigrants are coming to this Country, and statistics do show it. Such as, over 800,000 new national insurance cards were issued, compared with the 200,000+ entering the workforce. Odd statistics, and besides... people in the EU can move freely to the UK, and when the EU expands (Which it will) I wonder If Turkey will really be joining?
eBritishIdentity 2 years ago
It's no longer Africa, is it... now it's India, and many parts of Asia which requires vast sums of investment to eradicate poverty! While I would agree to do this, but not with a bunch of dictators and criminals which we allow to continue to dictate & kill their poeple!
I don't believe in converting them, once you comit yourself to such crimes, you should understand the punishment!
Like Gaddafi, or Mugabe and many others! No better than Saddam Hussein, then again that was just for OIL!
eBritishIdentity 2 years ago
Don't conflate the suffering of people in a country with the ruling elite of that country. Many of the agencies that operate to reduce poverty don't function through government. It is even worse to punish a people for their being oppressed. Your problem is that you want to appear reasoned in your isolationist view, but it isn't reasoned; it is emotional. You 'feel' it is wrong, for whatever psychological reason, and then try and rationalise that. Try thinking about why you feel that way.
stanthewolf 2 years ago
I see stan, so you don't agree with my view on punishing those who have killed many Africans? You don't agree with me on maybe gaining the trust of the African people, and then sending our armed forces (once they are no longer politically infected) to remove these regimes, and restore order and then invest vast sums of money help these people.
eBritishIdentity 2 years ago
Oh, and I did not mean to say "oppress", if that's how it came across. Our so-called Countries that preach love, music and peace... sit back and do nothing. Oh, I know we talk, debate and try and help for these many decades... but, that's not enough in my eyes or how many more people have to die, as well as Children and Women. How many more?

I just love how the world goes on about going green by moving all its pollution to be centered in China. They don't buy from the UK because we only really have financial services and those industries are insolvent and proped up by the governemnt. Making the government and therefore country insolvent.
Brown and the bankers should be hung, credit crunch 2 or currency crunch will finally finish us. then as labour did in the 70's they be calling the IMF for a loan.

Give it up Brown, you aren't fooling anyone. Go home and take that pathetic failure of a government with you.

Everyday the £ goes down why because of labours debt mountain, how long before currency defaults and we go way of Iceland.
spamula30 2 years ago

Blair has just signed with JP morgan for £500k a year!
spamula30 2 years ago
Ok thats fine then lets spend every penny the country doesen't have untill we are all living in cardboard boxes. Tax, spending and regulation that will make verything better.
Its the private sector that funds this socialist merry go round and the country is going broke. I have just lost my business as the £ has crashed against the yen and are therfore technically unemploed thanks to this labour government.
spamula30 2 years ago
Yes, but at least Gordon can still borrow billions to give 10 billion away to other countries.
I mean he wouldn't want to help British people, he wouldn't want British businesses to survive, or make jobs for our youth when they can go to sweat shops in the Far East.
He's a true global socialist, he saves the world by bankrupting us and leaving us in the gutter.
Rundogz 2 years ago
This is only true if one considers the British people to be independent of global citizenship. Our country is a leading exporter and producer and if we do not contribute to the development of the global economy then our own will collapse far more spectacularly than you fear it will. But more fundamentally than this, Britain is a philanthropic country because it is the right thing to do, not because we can afford to when it suits us, but because we must do the right thing for the right reasons.
stanthewolf 2 years ago
Sorry, but when a country has to borrow billions, when it has to print money, it is well beyond the stage where it can give aid.
Britain is a failing economy thanks to this Government. 20% of 16 to 24yr olds unemployed whilst the Gov farms out jobs to India.
The countries Brown want to develop dont buy from the UK, how much do we sell to China & how much global warming has been caused by it's development?
I am a British citizen & I'll stave or prosper as a UK citizen.. fuck globalization
