However, the Narz marriage was failing, so Marylou left for Los Angeles. Jack walked away from the New York-based VIDEO VILLAGE in an unsuccessful attempt at reconciliation. Ironically, the show and replacement host Monty Hall would transfer to L.A. the following year.

There is a happy ending for Jack...he soon remarried in a lasting relationship with a stewardess (who, in fact, remained on the job and did not retire until after 9/11).

There is a great story behind this, but it will take more than 500 characters...after two short-lived marriage, Bill and Ann Cullen remained together until his death in 1990. Jack and Marylou Narz, however, would not last---even after Jack made a major sacrifice in a last ditch effort to save it.

While DOTTO was brought down by the quiz show scandals, Narz was not implicated in any involvement. So by 1960 he earned the host position on a game show called VIDEO VILLAGE, which became a hit.

On another clip, Bill says Narz is his brother-in-law, but I thought it was a joke qbout them both being game show hosts. :0)

Wow, I had no idea Jack Narz brought them together. What a great bit of trivia. This had to be in the summer of 1958 since Jack was hosting Dotto. All those game show legends on the same stage!

I originally thought that bill cullen married a sister of jack narz and tom kennedy, but he married the sister in law of jack narz
