We can observe lightning and its causes directly. We can observe the spherical nature of the earth directly. We are unable to observe the creation or evolution of man directly. Also, the theory of evolution still does not address the problem of origins, which is why so many are unsatisfied with it.

@shizzleman8 I have never said that anyone or anything has all the answers. There is nothing wrong with saying that we dont know. Atheism is not a belief system, but the rejection of a central belief system. If you want to get technical about the bible, then it is really only 1700 years old, Constantine created the bible. My arguement does not mislead in anyway. There is evidence on one side, and nothing on the other. Its not a hard choice for me to make. Its common sense.

Wrong. Archeopteryx is an avian species with distinctly saurian features. It actually has more in common with theropods morphologically than avians. It's dishonest to say that scientists represent it as something it is not.

Fused chromosomes dont prove squat, the DNA difference between humans and apes in real terms when you ignore percentages is over 5 million gene changes in 1-3 million years. Chromosome count doesnt mean shit either, Tobacco has 48 Chromosomes, is it part ape? no of course not so why would you assume the same for something else.

@donwest420 Fossils arnt evidence for anything except for that thing died, you cannot prove that thing had kids let alone different kids and just because someone arranges a bunch of bones in order does not prove any evolution. I could arrange a number of living animals bones in an order and claim evolution when there was none and if people didnt know they were alive today they would assume evolution. Fossils dont prove evolution, they only prove something died.
