I was out of town on business, but my wife and infant daughter had to be evacuated by boat! We live on the 2nd floor so our personal property was safe, but this is the worst we have seen it flood.
I've lived in Lodi up untill 5 years ago, and have been through many of these. The town needs to halt all urban projects now and immediatly create and emergency plan to fix cronic flooding in Lodi. All residents of Lodi should go to the town meetings and force them to shut down all other projects and take immediate action on dredging the passaic river and possibly bulldoze the park behind the police station and create a spill over!
My mother and all her neighbors attend town meetings - Just before this occurred, Lodi was planning to build high rises off Harrison Ave. - If my parents, neighbors and other Lodeeoans didn't stop that, there would have been catastrophic consequences.
