  • I have a friend a school who only talks Spanish and know I will be able to communicate with here!!! Lo tengo

  • that helped a lot (: even i already knew all things from this lesson. and i was just watching spanish shows xD but lessons are really great

  • es bueno instrucion para estudiando espanol gracias professoro

  • @DerangedFox The Lo you're talking about is when you're dealing with a direct object. For example, if someone said to you "¿tienes el boligrafo?" instead of "yo tengo" you could say "Lo tengo" which translates to "I have it." you can also use it for "Lo quiero" which is I want it. It's only coincidence that "LL" sounds like a Y in English. Hope I helped!!

  • y si me chupai la pichula? :B

  • @Baluker

    Jejeje, ese güey...

  • Is the Lo in phrases like "Lo quiero" and "Lo tengo" pronounced more like a "Y" in English language so it sounds like Yo quiero and yo tengo?

It sounds more like the "Y" in Llama for name, I was wondering if this applies to Lo. Thank you!

  • @DerangedFox I speak portuguese and i'm learning spanish too. You are making a little confusion. Yes in certain spanish accents the sounds of LL and Y are equal, but not L. This Lo is pronounced Lo and has not to do with Yo. Yo refers to the person:Yo = I. Lo refers to the object of the phrase: "Lo" is kind like "It". So, Yo tengo = I have and Lo tengo = I have it/that. Even, you can say: Yo lo tengo = I have it/that. But the yo is not really necessary here.

  • @renat0tv

Cierto la "ll" hace tiempo que perdió un sonido específico, la mayoría de quienes hablan español son yeístas; así que, tienes razón.

Y lo que pasa es que es difícil enseñar el "have to" porque también entran artículos como el que mencionaste, como el artículo "lo".

Hasta luego y suerte con tu español ¡PULGAR ARRIBA POR EL VÍDEO!

  • You are the best teacher!!! I went to Cuba and i felt bad that they spoke english but I couldnt speak spanish so I decided to learn so when I go back next year I can speak to then in spanish. • @washableaccount

Hey glad it helped. Good luck in your GCSE!

  • I'm glad i speak french, coz i'm learning spanish now and it's might much easier when u know french, there are soooooo many things that similar!! even though my aim is to speak spanish fluently... got a long way to go........ ;-) lol good luck to you all while learning =)

  • @coloradooo99 , I used to study french, but since I don't know french fluently (and now I'm starting Spanish) I mix up the pronunciation. I'll read Spanish as if it's in french. XD

  • @Lovelyontheskin LOL yeah i see... that must be a funny mix when "Franish" is spoken fluently and completely mixed up :-) xD you should become a native franish speaker then.... go for it :-))) hehe.

  • @coloradooo99 , I remember one girl told me her french teacher would get pissed off at her because she (use to take Spanish classes for a certain amount of years and then started to learn french) would write and begin her sentences and paragraphs in french, but she'd accidentally end it in Spanish. XD And I remember someone else warned me not to learn them at the same time.

  • @Lovelyontheskin lol yeah i see XD well if my mother tongue wasnt french, i'd probably never wanna learn spanish coz i would be the first person to be able to mix it all up LoL.

  • thaaaaaaaaaaaanks
