HTC HD2 running Android 2.2 (Froyo) with HTC Sense

Can you use the regular 3G data connection? Instead of using WiFi. for example: when I'm not in a Wifi hotspot, can I use the 3G internet on Froyo?

@chaosnyx2009 I had issues with screen freezes and Sleep of Death (SoD) I have sinc emoved on to a better build, and haven't had a single screen freeze since.

@Anoon i dnt have the screen of death but my screen just freezes and wont work....even wen i restart my fone and i also tried a hard reset and that didnt resolve my issue.....this sux bad...

@gsharpshooter80 Haven't used mattc's so I can't say. For now this is the smoothese and most fuctional buil dI have tried yet. Mattc's is a desire build. I'm going to try it out now. From what I'm seeing Darkstone's is better right out of the box. I can't even get wifi to work with mattc's

@Anoon Alright I got ya and how would you say battery life is if you compared ?

@gsharpshooter80 Battery life has been the best so far with this V2 build. With older builds I couldn't make it through my 8 hours day at work without having to charge, I would play music for about a hour, use the web on wifi for like 20-30 minutes and make a few calls, by 6 hours I would have to charge, and also with a live wallpaper. Now with the same activity I still have like 30%-40% at 8 hours.

very nice..you should buy the Official HD2 extended battery.thats exactly 2400mAh. it would be ideal for your phone. :)

@karanUltimate You can't boot android with that battery from what I have heard. Android won't recognize the battery.

3D games work??, I want to shop this phone and install it Android 2.2 Froyo, But also i want to shop a Motorola Droid, What is better the Motorola Droid or the HTC HD2 with Android 2.2??

@wndr44 Yes 3D games work. I can't really say which is better since I have never used a Droid X. Both are 4.3 inch screen but overall the Droid X is bigger phone, so it's going to be an even tighter fit in your pocket. My HD2 runs Windows Mobile and Android. Droid X only runs Android. The Droid X's screen resolution is a bit better, so is the camera, and I think you will get clearer calls from it. Check out videos comparing both then make your decision.
