  • my ad was the lorax...in spanish

  • @FinalCutKing thanks, it helped me a lot! But I've got some problems! When I do the same there is no color bar and this stuff! I just can do the chromakey with the bar in the Filters list. But if i do (for example) color correction I have got this two color circles! I hope you got what my problem is. =) Also I wanted to ask you if it is possible to select some clips and "say" that they should be together as one clip which I can edit. Thank you!

    Sebastian

  • @littledicemonster okay I've solved the greenscreen problem just used the wrong effect! =) (german version -> effects named different) but a new thing I would like to know:

is it possible to "connect" a text to eg a person so the text follows the person? (watch?v=zmJDa9dptYk&feature=plcp&context=C3696670UDOEgsToPDskKH890syXcrsWWVGWjvrnjQ) or is this just possible in AE?

  • hello there, i need help with my final cut pro....I have edited my project in another computer before i saved the project and opened it on another computer. The thing is i only have the final cut session saved from the previous computer. Thus, the media files all went offline. So how do i find the media files from the previous computer? And if i found it, do i have to re-edit my video in the timeline? Thanks.

  • WTF A 5;00 MINUTE ADD?

  • You should've defocused the background and sharpened her focus a little bit. The final still looks a little too obvious that it's a green screen

  • whats the programme's name?

does that work to windows? or do you know an equivalent to this for windows?

    thank you :D

  • @jayinnowhereland equivalent for the editing? he's using final cut pro. thats just for mac. for windows theres one called adobe premiere.

  • @hollis0000

  • question here i can't see what my Chroma Keyer is doing to my clip until i render it out. How did you set yours up to do it right away when you select the green with the eye dropper?

  • Awesome mate

  • How come you didn't have to render the clip when you dragged the chroma key over it?

  • I want to know how do they delete the rope , for example in a movie someone is flying but actually he's just hanged by a rope ...etc.

  • Hey, great tutorial! I have 1 question that has nothing to do with this, did you make the camera zoom into the cellphone in FCP? If yes how would you do it?

    Thanks!

  • I have heard that it is better to NOT shoot in HDV or DV for green screen ... do you have an opinion on that? What kind of camera did you use for this example?

  • @plywoodtv U are correct, HDV and DV arent the best for keying, because of the compression artifacts. There are some plugins that can get rid of the blockiness. HDV and DV compression has also a heavy compression in terms of color/chroma. Of course you can make great chroma keys, but i dont think the built in finalcut plugin will do the best. You could try Primatte on After effects or Keylight, sorry for my horrible english.

  • does this work on a video

  • thanx soo much this really helped!

  • Everything comes out fine, however, the edges turn wavy. I try smoothing it... Any other suggestions?

  • the next movement in film making..

  • I'd like to have Final Cut, But it just work in MAC and I have Windows 7.

  • how do you chroma key without distortion on the edges of your subject. sometimes when I chroma key with fcp7 I get squiggle lines around my subject after I render and even export

  • its because of bad lighting... try to use matte magic to fix it, it helps

  • @Doh1250 what's matte magic?

  • how do you get it not to render???

  • did u use a fewcameras to capture that scene?

    and more light=better?

  • I used only 1 cam on this shoot. More light is usually better for the screen and subject, but there is also a correct way to light the screen and subject. Google how to light a green screen and you'll get some great answers.

  • thank you so much you just saved me. thank you thank youthank youthank youthank youthank youthank you lol

  • I imported my photo but it says "Media Offline Photo 310"

It doesnt show the picture :/

  • I'm having trouble chroma keying pictures. I drag the photo from iPhoto to my desktop, and put it into Final Cut Express. It's worked before, but for some reason today the pictures are really blurry in the video track. It's very frustrating. I've tried reinstalling FCE, but that didn't help. Maybe you could? Thanks.

  • ok so some of my friends have clips of their horses (obviously not on green screen) and they still can use the chroma key...the way u did it on this video, will it work if the object isnt on a green screen? ik tht sony vegas doesnt have to have a green screen

  • nice job
