  • I like how you can understand what Jim Jones is saying.

  • @Sean4247 I totally understand what "Capo" is saying... I totally relate 2 it.... I know the struggle....

  • This is freakin' dope... you put Mos with Black Keys, now this is what I call music...

  • Excellent Performance.. This is where hip hop needs to be.

  • APESHIT QUALITY MUSIC!!!!

  • mos def carries himself with so much swag

  • Onyx? like sticky fingaz? Let me see... "Onyx.com, YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS! Stick fingaz, YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS!" Yeah I don't think so.

  • onyx shoulda been on the original shit. wayyyyyy better verses.

  • @Imathrasher asshole metalhead

  • My favorite Jim Jones verses.

  • Soooooo sloooooooooow

  • You can tell how bad ass Mos Def is by the microphone he uses

  • jim mad respect for this one steppin out ur box!!!! inspiring!!!

  • I thought jim jones would be a weak link in the blakroc chain, but he seriously rocked this album.

  • jim jones has a sick blakroc jacket

  • good shit...

  • shit , jones dont know shit........he needs to get out of the music business........the black keys need to move without this gangsta shit rapp.......

  • @joseph95239 you should watch the blakroc webisodes. you'd really appreciate what all them did to this project. they made like 11 songs in 11 days. they all had 1 day to write lyrics for each song.

  • I'm surprised.. I was skeptical when I heard The Black Keys were doin' a Hip Hop project.. this is good shit..

  • @resonancecascade89 He's lip synching?

  • @thefriedman94 No, if you've heard the record you can obviously hear that he's not.

  • @thefriedman94 defs not

  • jim jones ftw

  • pure heart!

  • amazing Jones part in this one!

    this is his best work

  • this is a bit too slow, an awesome tune but jst needs that bit more energy... haha your right, he misses his intro and they have to do another round of the mos defs bit. shows how spot on they are no one even batted an eyelid, they jst go on with it!

  • @ChrisDorgan The album version actually picks up the tempo a good deal. They played this more chill version just to offer a different take on the song.

  • What is that MAD FUCK red mic mos def's got?

  • "we made good music using only the black keys"

  • probably my favorite 09 song period

  • great new creation. is that a chauffeur hat mos is wearing? what is that?

  • @cdc7891 I don't know, but if you find out, let me know cuz I want one. That's a smooth hat.

  • Im not a hater Im an artist just as these guys you watch but, Jim Jones Messes up and mos def picks um up, and mos def looks at jim & laughs. Its at 1:06

  • @Jimmyblonco1 I agree, Jim Jones was my least favorite part of this song

  • @Jimmyblonco1 if you actually listened to the recorded song, you'd know that that is actually how the song goes and he didnt mess up and mos def just did what he was supposed to.

  • jones absolutely kills everything in this

  • Jones spits. "Where I'm from, success is one in a million. We thought success was money in front of buildings." That addresses the whole disparity between the hood reality and the hood mentality. "Most people say, I'm politically incorrect. But most people scared, they spit it so indirect. I've been accused of same thing as you, but, I refuse to follow the rules of... who?" The addresses the distance between politics and real life. People need to stop sleepin' on Jones.

  • @jxradxb YEP!

  • @jxradxb after reading this there is one less person sleeping on jim jones 0___0

  • @jxradxb Jim Jones will surprise alot of people. That is why Dame Dash speaks so highly of him.

  • @jxradxb honestly his best stuff has been on blakroc, it's like being surrounded by great musicians brought out the best in him

  • he says on this lovely new record lol like he actually listens to it at home lol whatever should of just had mos def on the joint i cant stand jim jones

  • @namkooc i cant stand jim jones either. i think he's trash. but he he did come correct on this record.

  • def one of his best efforts

  • the black keys are the best band out now a days, mos def is fucking sick, jim jones.....idk about him.

  • @MattDylan420 read up about his past hes a true hustler its the harsh reality that he raps about

  • @Exhume2Consume - "Just cuz a nigga got the skills to sell dope, don't mean he got the same skills to rap about it"...word to Phonte lol....but naw all jokes aside, Jim Jones is a ok at best lyricist and this was actually the best thing i've EVER heard dude spit..The mighty Mos stole the show on the chorus! Still a good collective of artists in this group

  • jim jones spits like no other, have u ever heard the record? he's the best one on it...

  • I hope you're not talking about the whole album? The Q-Tip track isn't the best, but Q-Tip smashes Jim Jones to bits. And Raekwon on Stay Off The Fucking Flowers! Sick track!

  • jones has some of the best lines in the whole thing, although u know hes had them written down for prolly a year, Phaoroe Monch i think did the best job jus straight spitting

  • I had never heard of jones but he ended up being my favourite of the album along with noe, who i also hadn't heard..... great vibes

  • Love the song but Jones is a total homo, I wish Dame Dash would stop fukin with him.
