  • is this the stanley lee famous for his marvel comic books or a different one

  • @jordan628trisha No that's Stan Lee, an American. I am not American. Far from it.

  • @hooinc ok, lol i didnt know I figured that it would be a ton of money to have a pond like that and I know Stan Le has some major cash so I just put two and two together, and I figured you werent American, Ive seen your other vids

  • Nice pond, maybe you should have made it only 5 feet so you can actually see the koi better.

  • @pac6010 You didn't have the annotations on? It's not my pond.

  • Hi. Where did you get your under water U.V lights from please? Kyle.

  • @k99yle This is not my pond but a friend's pond. You can ask your local koi dealer in the UK for submersible UV lights. We live in Malaysia.

  • I have asked but cant find any in the U.K. If you can find out where they came from i can buy some on the net or e.mail the dealer. I would really appreciate this. Thank you. Kyle

  • @k99yle Why don't you try asking on a forum like Koi Chat or try to email Mark Gardner? I don't think the suppliers here have websites.

  • Just stunning. This is the nicest koi pond I've ever seen!

  • crystal clear water...

  • wow he spent a lot of money on that pond. very nice pond. That pond looks bigger than my grandmas swimming pool its 33k gallons

  • Ok, I got a question for you Koi pond people....

This video shows a pond in a part of the world that does not get cold.

Lets say I want to build the very same size pond, but in northern North Dakota...right now the date is Jan 9 and it was -24 below zero this morning, -40 below windchill.

With a liner pond, what chance is there it will be in good shape after the ice freezes down about 4 foot solid?

where should I put the fish in the winter?

  • Hi Alan, wow that's gonna be a huge pond you're building! I'm afraid we don't have any experience here at all with icy conditions and it would be much better to seek advice from Koi-Bito. From what I have read, the advanced keepers in temperate countries either heat their ponds or bring them into an indoor facility. Failing which increased depth would help buffer the temperature drop.

  • @hooinc wow your kois are all happy... I admire what you did to your pond..

  • really nice! how deep is the pond???

  • The answer is at 1:54 of the video :-)

  • Very healthy looking pond for top quality KOI

  • Yes indeed. The owner's koi did very well during the recent Singapore Koi Show and the Malaysia Koi Show (separate events).

  • it's straight LARGE :D

  • great Pond :D
