I reckon it was Nita who pushed him... I know Kirsty was at the top of the stairs with him, but she was so scared maybe she tried to save Kirsty? The thud you heard might have been Warren hitting Kirsty, which made her get the bruises so Nita helped her. Just my thought. ;)
