  • hey when i play the intro d chord so the voice of the first/bottom up so its not comin clearly so can u solve my problem by adding 1 more videoo plzzzzzzz

  • yeah it doesn't look like a hard song but there are 2 probs 1 im only a beginner and 2 i broke the top e string. also what would you reccomend as a first song to play as i got told hells bells but i am starting to learn californication

  • @Ravi898898

There are 3 suspended chord types. There is sus2, sus4, and sus6. It means taking the first and fifth notes of the scale and adding ether the 2nd, the 4th, or the 6th step. So using dsus4 as an example, the d major scale is: D E F# G A B C# D. The first note is a D, the the fifth note is an A, and then we add the 4th, Which is a G. So, the notes in a dsus4 are D, G, and A. If the suspended note isn't mentioned, (asus), it usually means sus4.

  • dont sing.

  • Can you please explain to me the meaning of suspended chords? How many types? (like Asus2 Asus4 ??) I see t hat in this song, we play the suspended versions of A and D

  • Is this is Cort E-200 ?

  • Thanks a ton..but how do I tune half step down using a metronome?

  • im new to guitar so don't mind my bad terminology, but what are your guitar strokes? like i cant tell what rhythm of downs and ups you are doing. Thanks!

  • Good

  • tnks a lot dude.....

  • Very nice......n helpful.......

  • Hi, you mentioned that you didn't want to use a capo. my guitar is standard tuned so I'm guessing I have to use a capo to get the same notes. Where should I strap the capo?

  • @TheBobbynz The song is in standard tuning. I was tuned 1/2 step down.

  • @TheBobbynz

11th fret for the Capo - so have to tune down really.

  • I think that I have to press really hard on my acoustic guitar to get a proper sound without ringing or buzzing...

Could any factor of guitar... like improperly connected strings etc cause this?

I would be glad if anyone could tell me.

  • @EntanglementSatan It could be that the neck of your guitar has warped a bit and is causing some fret buzz. You may want to take it to a local guitar shop and have them look at it. It may be as simple as a truss rod adjustment and humidity, or it could be a warped neck that needs special attention by a professional.

  • @azb24

  • great lesson. you make it look so simple. just one question. while playing the rythm, you dont seem to press all the strings for D and A chords. are you playing a variation of these chords or so it just seems from the top angle. please advice. this is one i am practicing these days. thanks

  • @ganant761 Thanks! I'm definitely pressing the strings down. No real variations.

  • hello, thanks after so many time ..... how to play " cloud no. 9" ? bryan adams

  • cantas bem

  • Thanks for help :)

  • thnx 4 helping me out

  • what do you mean by a half step down?

  • @DancerAlisha Instead of tuning to EADGBE, you tune the strings 1/2 of a step lower ("flat"). If you don't know what that means, just do a quick google search for "flat tuning".

  • finally one great video to learn this song .... thanks

  • What is the tuning?

  • @ynushuko Standard, although I play it 1/2 step down.

  • Nice, you were a great help!

    grtz from Belgium!

  • i'm a little late on watching this video but "better late than never", right. I just wanted to say....excellent idea on the "point of view" camera angle. it was the easiest thing to follow that i've ever seen. more people should film this way. great tutorial.

  • Sorry, I don't have the tab for that one.

  • Well !! seems to be a Dmaj and Amaj for the intro :-)

    Am I right mate ?

  • Yes. It is just different variations of D and A.

  • Thanks a ton man....Die hard Bryan Adams Fan here mate.... Would appreciate it if you would name the notes that you pick in the intro or name the chords

  • thank you!

  • guitar is too hard ,i went to classes but all waste but i want to play summer of 69 anyday...i want ,

  • nice guitar man, wat company/price?

  • It is a Taylor 414ce. :)

  • You're one decent fella .. i wish you success in what ever u doo ...!!!

  • Whats the chord played on 1:07 ? I can't get my hand on it, my thumb just won't reach 6th string to mute it.

  • B Minor. You don't need to wrap your thumb around, that is just a style choice on my part. Most folks will just use their index finger to mute the 6th string while they hold down the 5th string.

  • Ok, thx. Will try. But is it really necessary to play the muted 6th? Maybe I could just aim and play from 5th string? Or does it make a difference in sound?

  • Completely up to you. I would say try both and see what it sounds like.

  • Ok, thx again.

  • thank you so much.. after a long search i got this... :)

  • best riff ever heard of this song

but needs full guitar view so easyer and dont need to go back and forth

  • My nephew self-discovered B.A. while on a 3 hour road trip, listening to B.A. in my car. He was hooked. I am helping him learn to play guitar. He wants to learn to play every B.A. song. He's 4 hours away at college, so when I found this video I sent the link to him. He called a few days later to play it into his cell phone for me. Your lesson made it so easy for him to learn and master. Bravo!

  • hi friend. i have a doubt. if u know please tell me, How to change the saddle of a acoustic guitar ? The saddle of my guitar is damaged due to the string pressure on it. Is it possible to remove the saddle and replace with a new one OR i need to buy a new guitar ? Any idea of this. Please help me in this knowlege. Thanks in advance.

  • I don't know much about changing saddles. I assume that is something a professional would have to do, which might cost so much that you may be better off just getting a new guitar.

  • ok thanks for ur knowledge. If i get any more doubts i will be asking you as i am new to guitar. Thank you :)

  • you can go to your local guitar center and ask for saddles. and they give you a pack that contains 6. such a small thing to get a new guitar xD. or ask what the guitar center people reccimmened

  • Thanks!

    your instructions are very helpful

    5 stars
