No!I was like very interested in what you wanted to say, but..You know how you can get hipnotised against your will, same stuff happened--- I strongly recommend this video for people affected by all sorts of sleep disorders.. :D
It's been an embarrassingly long time since I went through the college admissions process, but the kind of stuff you go through here is the kind of stuff I would have appreciated knowing back then. Kudos!
do you know how/if the test was any different? that's interesting b/c the average score has increased. it was in the 20.7 area throughout the 90s and is now at 21.1 (all that info can be googled or found on their website). am i correct in assuming that you received a high score?
i still find the english and reading sections to be very easy so *shrug*
If I remember correctly -- and as I said, it's been quite a while -- I got a 30. I'm kind of a genius (there's really no modest way to say that, is there? Ha!). I don't know if the average increase is because high school folks have become smarter or if it's because the test has been "dumbed down." My optimistic tendencies, and reading/watching folks like yourself express their views, incline me to believe the former, but that's just me.
haha wow clearly i'm not getting enough sleep. the last comment was supposed to be for TETSUno1 but whatevs it works either way! haha
congrats! i won't say what i got the last time i took the test just b/c i don't want ppl commenting on it, but i'll tell you that the first time (i just wanted to try it out) i got a 31. and yes, the score did improve. =)
well judging by some of my friends i'd say it's the test lol they aren't all the sharpest knives in the drawer...
well both tests have their own practice books issued by Collegeboard and ACT Inc. Those helped a lot because they come from the actual companies. The Princeton Review and Kaplan books are also good if you want other exercises. Those are pretty much what I used. Hope that helps and good luck!
well they aren't easy in that you do have to study the tests and know enough math for the math sections. that being said, i will admit to being above-average, so i took to the ACT fairly quickly. i'm not trying to brag, i just want to let you know where i'm coming from!
the tests play to different strengths. for instance, i do better on the ACT math than on the SAT math because the types of questions are different. the english and reading are pretty much similar. does that help?
What was your score? :)
