@haysandyhippo you may have to reinstall the intelli studio. Runtime errors mean that durring the time of it running something bad happened with the software and caused it to become unstable so it has to safely shut it down. If it does it everytime then its a bad install. Uninstall intelli and reinstall it.

Hi-Thanks for this good instructional video. I'm having a problem uploading my video to YouTube. I've done it before using IntelliStudio, but now that I've upgraded to 3.0.45.1 I'm having a problem. It goes through the whole upload process, which takes several minutes showing the progress, but at the very end, I get the following error, "Failed to upload. (Error code 100)".

@mysoccerfamily you definately can...unfortunately not with this software. It is a very very basic program for editing. Its main job is to join clips.

How come after i put a few snowboard videos together and press play, it will play and stop like its not loaded all the way. it does this on both of my computers.

Hey why is my Intelli-Studio program so damn slow? I'll press the play button when I'm editing for my preview screen and it'll take 5-10 seconds to play and when it does the framerate is like 1 frame per 4 seconds. Oh and it's not my computer's specs.

@DntReedThis normally when you plug the camera in, if auto run is turned on it will ask if you want to install intelli to your computer. Once you do that then intelli will import all the video and pictures from the camera to your pc and you will have the option to remove them from the camera or leave them there.
thanks this really helped! I just got intelli studio today because it got installed with my new camera. The quality of the video when is plays on the timeline though is kind of slow. It ticks too. Will it be this way on youtube???? and my video camera has very good quality but in intelli it is horrible. Is this normal?
@BoiFavSongs Uh...do a google search on wrapflash.dll. You might have spyware on your computer that you will have to deal with before this application can run properly
I am having a problem with cutting my LONG video into 2 videos. I know you can do it, but once I tell it which part is part 1 and which is part 2, I can't figure out how to save each part separately as two different videos. Any suggestions?
@ksue1616 I don't think its possible with that software unless you load the clip in twice and cut the part out that you don't need out of both and mesh them together. Other then that I would suggest getting another editing program like magix movie edit pro or corel video studio.

Ive just got the SMX-C10LP PAL and im trying to use Intelli-Studios. but its really confusing. i used Windows iMovie maker before and where i would just press the space bar to stop at that certan frame i cant do this now. @eazypeazylq you need to setup your settings in intelli-studio for youtube if you want to upload from the program. Go into share button on the top, then on the botton you will see settings button. click that and it will show service YouTube, URL of youtube, then ID and Password. Make sure to put in your youtube ID and Password and autologin check mark at the bottom and that should fix that problem.
When editing can you use photos or videos from other cameras. Example: I took a picture a long time ago without a samsung camera, which is in jpeg format. Can I input that in the editing?

Thanks. Replacing the current audio track with another track is sufficient. The development of a single audio track from a multi-track source can be accomplished with software like Adobe Audition. The resulting audio file can then be added to video using Intelli-studio.
I wish to add audio (speech and music) to video clips using Intelli-studio. The video clips contain some background noise. Can Intelli-studio replace this noise with added audio?
@gfrank1157u unfortunately you can only add 1 audio track to the video. There aren't multiple tracks available yet. I am hoping that Samsung makes some changes to the software and allows multiple audio and video tracks. You can however add your own audio track and mute the current channel on the video track.
My intellistudio won't let me save my video in 1080p.
I have a camera which supports this resolution but it crashes every time i try to save it. The file size for what i'm trying to save is around 600MB, is that why it won't save?
@revilollietron Could be...I would contact Samsung about this. There could be an issue with the software for large file sizes. I noticed when editing large files that the memory foot print of intelli-studio was huge in the process list. Might be a memory leak they are unaware of.
When I try to insert music to a video, I click on find file and select a song in mp3 format. But when I click apply, it says the format is not supported by intelli studio. Which format am I suppose to use?
@tariqhasani Its been a while since I used intelli studio. Try converting the mp3 to wav. If you don't have a converter you can get winamp and use it to convert the mp3 to wav. I know wav's work nicely.
@tariqhasani the only song file that works is .wav and you have to convert it to that format. i use format factory . its easy and quick. and it wont work if you just hit. (apply) , you have to go to your library and look for it in the folder you saved it in
@spudnik961 not quite sure what you are asking. If you are adding multiple videos then it will show them as pictures of the first clip from the video in the time line but if you switch it to time line mode then it will show you the actual clip and the time line it runs.
@LovePeaceHearts1 To be honest I have never used the uploader built into any editing software. I find that its best to use the one on the youtube page itself.
@LovePeaceHearts1 Definately not with Intelli-Studio. I use Magix Movie Edit Pro for that kinda stuff. You would need to make a mask around the persons face and then use a filter like pixelate or mosaic. Intelli-Studio doesn't have those features...well this version I am using doesn't.
@LovePeaceHearts1 well you can either purchase magix movie edit pro online or download it illegally. I recomend purchasing it as its really good. There are tons of tutorials on line for doing simple things like how I did the iclone and the itransport videos.
When ever I connect the USB to the computer and the camcorder.

Then it said something like this: "An error has accured. We're sorry for the inconveinance." And the i click don't send. And Intelli Studio eXITS IT SELF.
@unit5099 go into the start menu, all programs, look for samsung...open the samsung folder and click remove intelli-studio. Once its removed, reboot your computer and then reinstall it by plugging in the camera.
@MrSkaterbob sure can. When editing there is a spot on the side to add music. You just need to find the track on your hard drive and then click the add button and it will add it to the time line. From there you can go into timeline mode and move the audio around to start where you need it to.
@Surfsupdude456 as far as I can tell with intelli-studio there isn't. They only seem to have one track for audio but I will check it out tonight to make sure. If it does I will post a tutorial on it.
@Surfsupdude456 I just checked and there is no way to put more then 1 audio clip in intelli-studio. You would need a better editing suite to use more clips or you would have to edit the audio track with an audio editor like cooledit or goldwave and then convert it to mp3 and then import it. Thats the only way I can think of doing it.
@Rosco1624 Its pretty easy to do. Once you have your video in your timeline "the bar at the bottom. Right click on the video itself, click volume and then grab the slider for the volume and drag it all the way to the left and your video's audio track will be muted.

@DylanSmith1997 Those were done in Adobe After Effects. Its an old copy that I had from back in my college days when I took my first year as a graphics designer as I thought it would help with designing graphical user interfaces. For my video editing I no longer use Intelli-Studio as it will not talk to the format from my new Panasonic HDC-SD20 camera. Now I use Magix Movie Edit Pro which I bought from the local "The Source" store for about $100.
@howdyoudo There is a trim button. Basically put all the movies you want into the timeline and there is a button that will convert it to a true timeline. Then chose the trim option and select the part you want removed and it should get rid of it.
@rockergirljaydey Weird. Only thing I can think of is that you are recording at 60 frames per second and rendering at 30 therefore the video is running at half speed. If your camera has a FPS selector in the menu try turning it down to 30fps or when you render your video render it at 60fps.
alright, i've seen a few tutorials about this program, and yes, i would know how to work it... but when i click the edit button, and i try to drag and drop a video, it does nothing. could you possibly tell me what i'm doing wrong?
@mileahm How exactly are you doing a drag and drop. Are you first populating the top portion with the videos you want to use in your master and then draging them down in the order that you want them to apear in on the time line?
@mileahm No biggy. Its a good piece of software but I stopped using it after getting my new HD camera as Intelli-Studio is very picky on the file formats it wants to work with. I used it for my drive down to daves farm to speed up the 6 hour footage of the drive into a 6 minute video. Other then working with my samsung cameras that record in Mp4 format the software won't work for me.

@MommyReporter I will be honest, I recently had to change editing software from Intelli to movie edit pro. Microsoft Movie maker that comes with vista was anoying but the new Live Movie Maker is really nice and clean and way more stable. Unfortunately intelli-studio will only recognize mp4 and wmv files. To import vids from samsung to movie maker just save your files at WMV rather then Mp4 and you should be able to open them in movie maker
@fransueloken I found that for the most part that Intelli-Studio is way more stable then Live Movie Maker. Only issue I had with Movie Maker was that it was very picky on video formats and music importing formats. Personally I use Magix Movie Edit Pro. I picked up a copy at our local The Source store and thats all I use unless I need to do non linear editing.
the SDV_0604 part is the name of the file, the Mp4 is the file type which is h.264. All you need to do is follow my tutorial and once you save your final movie then use the uploader on the youtube website rather then using the one built into the software. I find its faster to use the youtube one rather then the intelli-studio one.
Mine said that this application wanted to do runtime or something like that. Can you tell me what that means and how I can fix it?

U have to convert a 16:9 video to 16:9 again with this software.. otherwise utube will squash the original 16:9 down to 4:3

Hey man i watched your Adding music one too but im looking to add music to a spefic point when i add music it goes right at the start. and i want the music to start around 15 seconds into the movie and last about 10 seconds when it has started. Thanks in advance.

hey Skavaen. Ive just got the SMX-C10LP PAL and im trying to use Intelli-Studios. but its really confusing. i used Windows iMovie maker before and where i would just press the space bar to stop at that certan frame i cant do this now. Im wondering how to cut (start and stop at points of the video). I used to be able to do it on Movie maker but not on this. could you help?
Or how do i put a video from this camera onto moviemaker it wont let me.

@RAATIMMEH To move a movie from this camera to movie maker try these steps
1) import into samsung intelli studio
2) save as wmv file
3) open with WMM

@BaBs2706 That is the other reason why I stopped using Intelli-Studio. The 20 clips per project was put in due to memory consumption.

@eazypeazylq you need to setup your settings in intelli-studio for youtube if you want to upload from the program. Go into share button on the top, then on the botton you will see settings button. click that and it will show service YouTube, URL of youtube, then ID and Password. Make sure to put in your youtube ID and Password and autologin check mark at the bottom and that should fix that problem.

When editing can you use photos or videos from other cameras. Example: I took a picture a long time ago without a samsung camera, which is in jpeg format. Can I input that in the editing?

skavean, when i try to upload a song to my video, i click find file then i find the song i want and i make sure its an mp3 or the other wmv and what do i do to get it in the box so that i can hit apply. because i try open, double clicking it, select, and nothing happens. help

Thanks. Replacing the current audio track with another track is sufficient. The development of a single audio track from a multi-track source can be accomplished with software like Adobe Audition. The resulting audio file can then be added to video using Intelli-studio.

I wish to add audio (speech and music) to video clips using Intelli-studio. The video clips contain some background noise. Can Intelli-studio replace this noise with added audio?

@gfrank1157u unfortunately you can only add 1 audio track to the video. There aren't multiple tracks available yet. I am hoping that Samsung makes some changes to the software and allows multiple audio and video tracks. You can however add your own audio track and mute the current channel on the video track.

My intellistudio won't let me save my video in 1080p.
I have a camera which supports this resolution but it crashes every time i try to save it. The file size for what i'm trying to save is around 600MB, is that why it won't save?

@revilollietron Could be...I would contact Samsung about this. There could be an issue with the software for large file sizes. I noticed when editing large files that the memory foot print of intelli-studio was huge in the process list. Might be a memory leak they are unaware of.

When I try to insert music to a video, I click on find file and select a song in mp3 format. But when I click apply, it says the format is not supported by intelli studio. Which format am I suppose to use?

@tariqhasani Its been a while since I used intelli studio. Try converting the mp3 to wav. If you don't have a converter you can get winamp and use it to convert the mp3 to wav. I know wav's work nicely.

@tariqhasani the only song file that works is .wav and you have to convert it to that format. i use format factory . its easy and quick. and it wont work if you just hit. (apply) , you have to go to your library and look for it in the folder you saved it in

@spudnik961 not quite sure what you are asking. If you are adding multiple videos then it will show them as pictures of the first clip from the video in the time line but if you switch it to time line mode then it will show you the actual clip and the time line it runs.

@LovePeaceHearts1 Definately not with Intelli-Studio. I use Magix Movie Edit Pro for that kinda stuff. You would need to make a mask around the persons face and then use a filter like pixelate or mosaic. Intelli-Studio doesn't have those features...well this version I am using doesn't.

@LovePeaceHearts1 well you can either purchase magix movie edit pro online or download it illegally. I recomend purchasing it as its really good. There are tons of tutorials on line for doing simple things like how I did the iclone and the itransport videos.

I've been having a problem with Intelli Studio:
When ever I connect the USB to the computer and the camcorder.
And Intelli Studio comes up.
Then it said something like this: "An error has accured. We're sorry for the inconveinance." And the i click don't send. And Intelli Studio eXITS IT SELF.
Any tips?

@unit5099 go into the start menu, all programs, look for samsung...open the samsung folder and click remove intelli-studio. Once its removed, reboot your computer and then reinstall it by plugging in the camera.

@MrSkaterbob sure can. When editing there is a spot on the side to add music. You just need to find the track on your hard drive and then click the add button and it will add it to the time line. From there you can go into timeline mode and move the audio around to start where you need it to.

@Surfsupdude456 as far as I can tell with intelli-studio there isn't. They only seem to have one track for audio but I will check it out tonight to make sure. If it does I will post a tutorial on it.

@Surfsupdude456 I just checked and there is no way to put more then 1 audio clip in intelli-studio. You would need a better editing suite to use more clips or you would have to edit the audio track with an audio editor like cooledit or goldwave and then convert it to mp3 and then import it. Thats the only way I can think of doing it.

@Rosco1624 Its pretty easy to do. Once you have your video in your timeline "the bar at the bottom. Right click on the video itself, click volume and then grab the slider for the volume and drag it all the way to the left and your video's audio track will be muted.

@DylanSmith1997 Those were done in Adobe After Effects. Its an old copy that I had from back in my college days when I took my first year as a graphics designer as I thought it would help with designing graphical user interfaces. For my video editing I no longer use Intelli-Studio as it will not talk to the format from my new Panasonic HDC-SD20 camera. Now I use Magix Movie Edit Pro which I bought from the local "The Source" store for about $100.

how do you trim videos? i have one where i dont want certain parts, like the first seven seconds. how do i edit that out? please help!!!

@howdyoudo There is a trim button. Basically put all the movies you want into the timeline and there is a button that will convert it to a true timeline. Then chose the trim option and select the part you want removed and it should get rid of it.

I'm wondering if anybody can help me with this,
whenever I put a clip into the timeline, and i press play, it ends up playing in slow motion. How can I fix that?

@rockergirljaydey Weird. Only thing I can think of is that you are recording at 60 frames per second and rendering at 30 therefore the video is running at half speed. If your camera has a FPS selector in the menu try turning it down to 30fps or when you render your video render it at 60fps.

alright, i've seen a few tutorials about this program, and yes, i would know how to work it... but when i click the edit button, and i try to drag and drop a video, it does nothing. could you possibly tell me what i'm doing wrong?

@mileahm How exactly are you doing a drag and drop. Are you first populating the top portion with the videos you want to use in your master and then draging them down in the order that you want them to apear in on the time line?

@mileahm No biggy. Its a good piece of software but I stopped using it after getting my new HD camera as Intelli-Studio is very picky on the file formats it wants to work with. I used it for my drive down to daves farm to speed up the 6 hour footage of the drive into a 6 minute video. Other then working with my samsung cameras that record in Mp4 format the software won't work for me.

Thanks so much for this tut! Do you know if I can import vids not shot with my Samsung cam into Intelli-Studio? I have some footage from my webcam that I want to edit with footage shot with my Samsung. Also, how do you do titles/credits with Intelli? WMM is much better for editing in my opinion... Oh, and how do I import vids from my Samsung into Movie Maker? Thanks so much!! Sorry for so many questions... :)

@MommyReporter I will be honest, I recently had to change editing software from Intelli to movie edit pro. Microsoft Movie maker that comes with vista was anoying but the new Live Movie Maker is really nice and clean and way more stable. Unfortunately intelli-studio will only recognize mp4 and wmv files. To import vids from samsung to movie maker just save your files at WMV rather then Mp4 and you should be able to open them in movie maker

@fransueloken I found that for the most part that Intelli-Studio is way more stable then Live Movie Maker. Only issue I had with Movie Maker was that it was very picky on video formats and music importing formats. Personally I use Magix Movie Edit Pro. I picked up a copy at our local The Source store and thats all I use unless I need to do non linear editing.

@Longboarder279 Adding music is very easy with this software
All You need to do is once in the editor click on the insert sound option
then click find file, should bring up another window
hunt around on your computer for the mp3
click open once you have the file highlited
then click apply just below the little box
Make sure you are in timeline mode and not story board mode.
That way you can queue the song to start at the right time

It was due to the mp3 being too large
If its a full song that you are trying to use then
you might not be able to pull it off. Might have to try a smaller
mp3 file.

the SDV_0604 part is the name of the file, the Mp4 is the file type which is h.264. All you need to do is follow my tutorial and once you save your final movie then use the uploader on the youtube website rather then using the one built into the software. I find its faster to use the youtube one rather then the intelli-studio one.
