Unfortunately, the person who composed all the songs for Playonline retired back in '05 when Uematsu left Square. I wish she would start back up again! I would love to hear tunes like her's in some of Square's current games!

@ND89TEN No they don't. FFXIV doesn't use PlayOnline, it just uses your SquareEnix account to log in then launches straight into the game's title screen.

Ohh the memoris, have not played this since late 2007 cos the game itself was crap but the chat rooms were hallarious!

I trie putting the disc in today (25.02.10) but it said "game does not work, redownload the game". Said this twice.

And tried again said to me "to play this game inster into a xbox 360 console".

The music "submarine" was best I think, anyway I had that one as mine anyway. Eitehr called "Marine" or "Submarine" or "Sonar" soemthign like that.

^.^ Thanks for posting... Now If I could only find the song that plays in the "Content ID" section of the Final Fantasy XI Menu in the PlayOnline viewer... That song is so magical and dreamlike. I wish it would have been on the soundtrack.
