A decent laptop will run you $2000-$3000 Cheaper laptops dont have the Graphics Power or things like FireWire, than you need a Good Camera with Lenses etc... thats another $4000-$7000 anything cheaper will look cheaper. Than you need good editing software thats another $500-$1000

So Yeah.. If you can save up $10,000 you can make good films. :)
