  • Seals Hilton is my grandfather. I used to love to hear him sing to us as kids and when we got to go to the quartets reunions at the Joyful Noise in Atl. I have never seen these videos. It is so exciting to see these and get to share them with my son, his great grandson. I wish i had copies of these videos to preserve a bit of family history for my son.

  • @DoodlesBelle I've known Seals Hilton all my life and he doesn't have any kids.

  • @emandem03

Yes, he does. He has one son, Edwin Seals Hilton from his first marriage to Goldie Powell. My father passed in Sept '04. Daddy Seals has several surviving sister's. They can verify this information.

  • Does anyone know when Bob Crews passed away?

  • Been searching for these videos. Always loved this group.

  • In the early days (late 1940 & 50's) they came to our family reunions and drug the piano out on the front porch and sang all afternoon. This was the annual Mackey reunion to which Wallace Edwards was a member.

  • OMG. Happy was the Music Director at the church I grew up in and prior to that I remember Fred C!. Boy am I getting old! Happy and Fred C were good men. I also remember Charles K.

  • Happy Edwards.. The contagious energy he brought to the stage, unsurpassed. Timeless... Thanks for sharing

  • When is this from? I notice it's after Fred C. Maples and Charles Key's tenures.

  • A long time ago..Filmed from Wally Fowler in the late 50's.....57 through 61....or sometime thereafter!

  • Going to let mine shine too!

  • One of my favorite groups!

  • LOVE IT!!

  • Thanks, Dean. They were one of my favorite groups back in the 50's and 60's. Happy was a funny person and Low Note could resonate some bass....they did get into a song!

  • Been looking for videos of this group!! If you like them then I suggest checking out the Revelaires from Birmingham, AL. Thanks so much. Does anybody know anything about the Oxford Alabama quartet also by the name of the Harmoneers but not the same group circa 1970?

  • Once again you have posted another blessing thank you so much.
