Chevron are on Globalexchange's list of most wanted companies for human rights abuses.

From the site:

"In 1999, two people from Opia village were killed by military personnel paid by Chevron, after soliciting a meeting to complain about the company’s harmful effects on local fishing."

Its an excuse to outsource the refineries. Maybe they'll set one down to Brasil since Obama says it ok for Brasil to offshore drill.Just not the evil Americans.We must be too backward in our presidents mind, to drill or mine our natural resources. This country sent people to the moon!!?Now, it hurts to go down the street!!

@lifeismasked A handful of jobs or a handful of food becomes real important when its difficult to fill your own hands. So yes every little bit helps. One less family struggling will change the environment around them. People that started outsourcing have your attitude about "whats one less job." Now there are millions of "one less" outsourced jobs.
