This is no where near what the cars like this one ran on Sat. A guy in a car named "Bone Bucket" ran a 3.68 @ 204 mph. Thats insanly fast in 1/8th of a mile.

it was prolly a bracket race, they program the on-board computers to run a certain time and they usually jump off the line rapidly, let off, then hit full just in time to make a near perfect predicted time.

nope, he smoked the tires off the line. thats bad even when bracket racing. youre thinking of a throttle stop though. you program a certain amount of delay in it after the starting line to run as close to your dial in as possible.
