@grglgorgel rubbish. Its mma, you have to use what works. what do you want him to do , pretend hes fighting against another capoerista? Also, I have seen plenty of videos where capoeira has won with kick kos. Finally, capoeira has multiple schools and styles and there are throws and ground work. You really think a martial art from Brazil would not be able to learn anything from BJJ? People seem to think fighting is a video game with a limited set of moves and controls.
@gaijinmonster I do not argue that, since it seems you have better knowledge of the case. I only said what I saw, and since I am very unfamiliar with capoiera and see it as a "show" martial art, I don't know what kind of technigues it has apart from the ones that start from the dancing- like movement. Therefore to me it seems when the fighter doesn't "dance" he is using another martial art, not capoiera. I myself practise BJJ. Please link a capoiera winning video!

Everytime I see a capoiera artist fight against some other art, he gives up on using capoiera and just charges at his opponent withing 10secs..
