Personally, I like playing it as a nocturne. I find it hard to give constructive criticism because at this point you'll probably already have improved alot, also the quality on the recording was bad. You played very nicely.
I actually prefer the faster tempo. At which point in the piece do you find pedaling issues? Where do I miss notes? if you're going to criticize my playing, make sure that your comments are accurate.

Try slowing it down, cleaning up the pedal, and hitting the right notes. Ok for a sleeveless mall performance.
