Wow, I sure didn't pay attention to the Moody Blues in '78, other than hearing them on the radio. If I saw who the leader singer was and what he looked like, I would have dropped Barry Manilow and David Cassidy from my heartthrob list. I take it back, I would have added Justin Hayward to top of my list! I didn't even discover him until I saw a Red Rock concert on PBS in early '90's. Now that I can watch Justin in his younger years on YouTube, I am in love! Luv him in this vid (sigh)!

I am dissapointed that I missed Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds , but even more so that I haven't had the chance to see Justin with the Moody Blues in my lifetime - but seeing as though I'm only 40 , I'm hoping I will see one of their concerts before my time is up - absolutely amazing talent and a fantastic band - Love his voice , they don't make music like that anymore :-(

Watch and weep all you boy bands. No dancing, no fireworks, no backing singers, no gimmics, - NO MIMING. Just a great artist giving a great live performance. That's why JH is still out there doing it with the Moody Blues forty odd years on.
I think I have too dedicate this too my faithful friend Tara. She was a dog. After My dad I loved her most. No women has ever been close. I still dream of her 10 or 11 years after she died.
